Established in 1969, next door to Ryan Field in Evanston IL, it's a wonderful family business fantastic service, open late. If you’re looking for a good genuine hotdog/burger joint, this is the place. I’m not from here and I gotta say it was probably the best place we have visited so far! The fries were cooked to perfection, the cheese cup is a must. My favorite item was the polish sausage it was excellent!

Another successful visit to Mustards!!! Great food!! Great service. The atmosphere is amazing, typical Chicago hot dog stand. Just be prepared to stand and improvise where you consume your food if it’s crowded. Outdoor seating helps when it’s warm enough. Never disappoints!!

Best Chicago dog, that you can get in the safety and comfort of Evanston.Sitting is limited, and cash is preferred at the register, but that is an amazing locally owned hot dog place with stories and cultural value for the neighborhood. They got combos and polish wieners.

I have been eating here for pretty much my entire life as my family's house is in the area. Sadly over the last few years it has gone downhill. I do not know if the online order system is to blame, or simply changes in ownership and quality of the products. The last time we ordered, we made the mistake of using the online ordering and we will not do that again. The Chardog (a Grilled hotdog) was not grilled, and wasn't even warm to lukewarm, it was cold. Like it had been sitting in a fridge and then had condiments put on it. They used to have Merks cheese for the cheese fries. I'm not sure what they have now, but the cheese was broken and oily and gritty. I also asked for extra crispy fries, and once again they were floppy and cold.I'm not sure if it is a problem with the reading comprehension of the person who is looking at the online ordering, or a change in management or ownership, but the quality isn't as good as it used to be. It makes me so sad, because this is my family's go to quick dinner that makes everyone happy, Or it used to.
