Papa Bop has authentic Korean cuisine that I crave. It seats 20 (maybe?) And there are no reservations so show up on off hours or be patient. It's worth it!

This was the first place I tried bibimbap but hadn't been back since they changed owners. I loved the upgrade to the place and their special sauce as well as the stone bowl option which allows for the bottom rice to get nice and crispy. I'll be back to try other things on the menu. The service was good and quick as well!

One of the best Korean restaurants in the Chicago area. I have been going since they first opened a few years ago and have always found the food and service to be top-notch.
Best place for Korean food in Evanston! Good food, great service and decent price!

Ordered the oxtail soup and the japchae- good taste & great portion for japchae! I haven't found oxtail soup or restaurants that serve radish kimchi + potato banchan nearby so was super excited to find :)) went in late afternoon so the staff/cooks were eating too, but one of the waiters was very helpful and attentive. offered to refill our banchan when he noticed it was low. the interior gives cafe vibes with a lot of light & white, kinda minimalist decor. overall really good, I hope more Northwestern students make the short walk or take the shuttle to here!

Had lunch with a friend today. The food was fresh, colorful and delicious! The servings were generous - I have leftovers for tomorrow. The service is fast and friendly. The sauces with the bi bim bop and the dumplings were delicious. Can’t wait to return!

Delicious food, kind staff and generous portion. Best meal I’ve had in a while!
The best Korean food we’ve ever had! Loved our meal and outstanding service as well. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We loved the three sauces that came with the bi bim bop. Papa’s sauce was our fave! Don’t miss the strawberry milk either. Thanks for a phenomenal meal! We’ll be back soon:)

Great food, and neighborhood restaurant! The Hot Stone Bowl Beef Bulgolgi is my favorite.
Just stopped in for lunch and had the Army Soup and Mandoo. The free kimchi pickled radish and potato's were a great touch as well. The Army soup was perfect on a cold Chicago day and the perfect amount of spice. Service was fast and super friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

Tiny little cute place with a super nice owner. The bibimbop in the hot bowl was delicious! Let it sit in the pot for a while and the rice will crisp up on the bottom. The owner is so sweet. When I was full he came over and scraped the bowl and said "one last bite" with a smile. Great spot
