Great neighborhood spot for tacos & authentic Mexican food. Artistic space, outgoing service, and interesting variety of food. Recommended.

I love this place! The food is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing and the art - you have to come by if for no other reason then to check out the original art! Top-notch… I’ve had a margarita here before as well and there are also great- I can hardly ever find a decent margarita. I highly recommend this place.

Food was fantastic. The owner did all the artwork and everywhere you look is a masterpiece! Service was good could have been a little better but could have been an off night though. We all have them!

I'm honestly astonished at the reviews this has received, I was excited to go there but after having ate there it feels like a money grab. The food was mediocre, drinks were good but on the high end($14 for a single margarita and no pitchers) the staff slow and inattentive(had the wrong food brought to our table twice) It's pretty much Alacart here- They don't have dinners that include sides like rice and beans($6 extra if you want those) the tacos range in price from $5-7 and were not very enjoyable, the carne asada tacos were dry and served in a plastic basket covered in wax paper. Our server came to check on us once during the meal. I would recommend finding another spot as just about everything about this place was subpar besides the ambience.

Make a reservation! Drinks are amazing, love the mezcal options. The decor is really great and atmosphere is fun , but loud. Not a “quiet night out” place, but great for fun with friends. Food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and homemade. Tortillas are amazing. This time we got the specials which were mole enchiladas (they know how to do a solid mole) and fish tacos. Both excellent.

Everything tasted gourmet, well drinks and food, without the big price tag. Great vegetarian and vegan choices, plus plenty meat options. Even the house made chips and salsa are great. Hope this place is forever.

First time at Zentlis. The host and waitress were both friendly and helpful. The food was very good and was delivered within a reasonable period of time. We enjoyed chicken mole and tacos Alhambre. We found the lighting was a bit dark to see the menu well. Additionally, noise was a bit loud reducing ability to hear each other well.

I tried the steak, chicken, and veggie tacos. All 3 were?.

The food is excellent. The only thing that I have a problem with are the drinks which should be made sweeter. Also, the selection of drinks is pretty

I thought about writing a review for a long time. And I decided it is worthwhile to at least share our experience. We went to this restaurant in a group. One person had dietary challenges and asked if some ingredients could be left out – only to be told that the food is all prepared in advance and no changes can be made. In fact the waitress actually said, (quote) “for picky children we can make a cheese quesadilla.” There were no “picky children” - - - we were all adults, only had a person with a dietary challenge. This comment was not only embarrassing – but offensive. So if you have a group of people, make sure no one has any special needs, because this restaurant is unable to accommodate anything. Just what is on their menu. It is also extremely loud – so don’t plan on having any conversations without shouting. Parking is across the street – so plan on walking across four lanes of traffic – not feeling safe about this in the dark. Would I recommend it – not a chance.Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is unable to make any changes to their menu since the waitress indicated all food is prepared in advance. If you have any limitations or dietary restrictions - this is not the place to go.Parking: Parking is across the street. Plan on going across Dempster Street (four lanes). Do not park in the parking lot next door to the restaurant. While it is not marked, you will be towed since it belongs to another business. But you won't know this until you get to the front door of the restaurant. Then you have to walk back outside and move your car. We ended up finding on street parking four blocks away.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly.

I loved the space, very colorful and cozy. Great service, but I didn't love the food. I like the guac and enchiladas but not the tacos, the steak one was very dry, the mushroom and chicken ones just ok. I didn't like the homemade tortilla for the tacos.

Fantastic food with lots of vegan/veg options. Food is inventive and so delicious. Fun atmosphere but a bit noisy at times. Great margaritas and warm, friendly service.

Do you like to talk with friends when you're dining? Then avoid Zentli on a Saturday night. It was ridiculously noisy. The room is tables lined up with gaps along the walls to seat a lot of people. The folks on the wall side share one long wooden bench. I guess seating's not comfortable because they don't want to encourage conversation. Since it's a cacophonous room it's hard to hear anyone anyway. It's not intimate, more like a Day of the Dead lunchroom. Food was fine but when our friend ordered enchiladas (choose chicken or cheese) and she asked if she could have a little cheese with the chicken, the server said no because there were already prepared...what?! Conclusion: service was fine, server was nice --from what we could hear :-D , food was good, margaritas nice, red wine absolutely ordinary and ambiance sorely lacking. We will not be going back. It would be easier to catch up trackside at the Indy 500.

I've eaten at Zentli for dinner and brunch, the drinks, food, and ambiance are amazing! They have some really unique dishes. Prices are also quite reasonable. Parking is available across the street for dinner - go today!

We were there for brunch, so judging the food isn't really fair. However, what we had was quite good and distinctive (the coffee service was very cool). There is a very relaxed sort of "slow food" vibe that is both tasty and convivial. The decor gets comments from others and is quite fun, but the underlying space being so spartan detracts a bit. This is in a somewhat weird location. Hopefully they will get some neighborhood support, but for the rest of us at least the parking is easy.Vegetarian options: There was a separate "vegan" menu offered, but we ordered vegetarian dishes from the regular list. There are plenty of options there.Parking: There's some free street parking, but the convenient option is the lot across the street (Dempster) which they share with other businesses.
