My favorite local Mexican! And it's not like there are no options. This place is simple. You order at a bar similar to Qdoba or chipotle. I love their bowls and tacos best. But I've never had a bad meal here. It's always clean and there is plenty of dining space. If they have a weakness is in their hot sauces. They don't have anything that really hits the spot for me. But the queso is good and their chicken nachos are excellent! Give it a spin. I think you'll be happy.

Went here with our family and everything was great! Highly recommend the Mini Chimi and Strawberry Lime drink!!! Many family members had corn tacos and really liked them. Also, their hot sauce is hot! Severs were nice and welcoming. Great place.Parking: Easy to park and go in.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant. Steak burrito was excellent. Tender with great seasoning. Tamale with the works was a great addition. I will stop by every time I am in Fairview Heights

Dined in on a Wednesday when it was not busy. Ordered one steak taco flour, a small side of rice, and drink. The total was $19.29, without tip. The food was a little cool but the taste was good. I liked the mild & hot sauces put on the side. I ate every last grain of food. That's a first for me, I cant eat much in one sitting. Only other prob was walking in, smelling the overwhelming (bathroom) cleaning products. Then to add to my experience, after sitting down, I see an employee come to the table next to me with a spray bottle & dry washcloth. She faces me spraying disinfected on the table, wipes and repeats.
This is one of my go to spots especially if im craving a chipotle style burrito. All the meats are seasoned great and juicy as well the other toppings are fresh. Also they definitely don't skimp on the portion sizes and alot cheaper then chipotle. Definitely give it a try.

I had two carnitas "street" tacos with onion, cilantro and a barely 2 tablespoons of gaucomole and paid almost $15 with the 15% tip. I didn't realize that they were charging me $3.98 for the 2 tablespoons of guacamole!!! I believe they charged me for a larger portion of guac....It left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak!
