The only thing I didn't like was the fact they automatically added a 20% tip on the bill. So he got that 20% plus the 20% I left . Which was probably my fault for not looking at the bill closer. There was 12 at our table and I know they restaurants automatically add 20% on for large parties.

Food is very average. Manager at this location whose name is Charlie is not customer friendly . Food is over priced for the quality and quantity that you receive. The food is bland with no seasoning and the lunch buffet is overpriced. I do not recommend this restaurant .

Today, the manager of Zapata's got right in my face and said "c'mon" when I asked why my drink went from $7 to $10. He then said I was drunk, though I had one drink. My fiancé witnessed this, as did other customers. I felt intimidated and in danger. Please...stay away from Zapata's...this was an unbelievable experience. I intend to seek legal counsel asap. I was embarrassed and intimidated. I can provide details.

The food is amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Went in on a Tuesday night when most places would just phone it in but not here it was fantastic. Highly recommend. One small criticism they need to do something about the ungodly draft from the door when customers come in and out.

Ordered Deluxe taco salad that had no taco seasoning or salsa in it. It consisted of lettuce, cheese, chicken, sour cream and guacamole in a hard shell. Chips were also in our delivery order but no salsa?

I love Zapata. But why did you get rid of your awesome fries?

I live in the same neighborhood as Zapata's and on the weekends they are really busy. I have no idea why? Ordered a grilled chicken Quesadilla and there was nothing "grilled" about it. Not good! It was a large group at that time as well and 3 of us did not eat our lunch. Some friends wanted to go Christmas Eve afternoon. I begrudindly accepted. They didn't even bring chips and salsa out to our 10 top. I understand they have a "buffet", but all of us did not order off the buffet. We had to ask for chips and we got one basket. I will never step foot in this place again. It use to be good when it was down by Schnucks...not anymore!

This was my first time dining at this facility. I had been invited several times before but never went. The restaurant is so nice and cozy and colorful, with separate little rooms that seats a party of six. I ordered their drink special, which was the strawberry margarita frozen. It came in a nice big goblet and it was delicious! I then ordered the sampler plate with one taco, a tostado, an enchilada, and two other items. They were all cooked well and tasty. The menu is very extensive and the food is reasonably priced.

Waited thirty minutes to order drinks because the managers were refusing to serve one person that they said didn’t pay for previous order. She told them she would pay now they said ok then changed their minds and told her they could not serve her only to serve her anyway. I was patient during all this then they started serving the non black guest and I still had to wait. Never will I ever. The atmosphere was good cause there was a family there having a birthday party.
