“Friends of ours told us about this place but we've never been because we're not in Farmington very often. It was well worth the 40 minute drive and we'd recommend it too. A real local family restaurant with the feel of a Wisconsin supper club. We didn't have any brandy old fashioned's but our cocktails were served in mason jars. We had the combo appetizer which includes your choice of three of the various options (mostly fried). We had the mozz logs (mozzarella sticks), bullets (jalapeño poppers) and clams. The clams were by far the star of these options. The house salads were basic but served on chilled plates with homemade dressings that you don't see much of anymore and they were perfect. We ordered chicken alfredo, raviolis with meat sauce and the walleye. Chicken alfredo was not your cookie cutter dish found anywhere, it was generous on chicken and plenty of flavor other than the sauce. The walleye was two nice size pieces that were thicker and more like mass produced cod filets. I'm more of a fan of the thinner filets that curl up when they're fried but the flavor and batter were perfect. The star of the entrees was the ravioli with meat sauce. I'm sure this is how Nonne Scapecchi built her following when they opened over 25 years ago (We think she's the one who greeted us and showed us to our table). Be sure to save room for one of their homemade desserts too. We shared their butterfinger cake and it was delicious. Our server, Tina, was very friendly and accurate with her advice about our menu questions. Bring your cash or use their ATM in the bar for $3 despite what Yelp says on this listing they're cash only. No need for reservations unless you're a party of six or more. We'd recommend this place too if you're looking for something off the beaten path and local with homemade items throughout the menu. We'll definitely be back!”

“I recently visited Cup of Canton and tried their mango green tea with pearls and brown sugar tea with pearls. Both drinks were exceptional! The mango green tea had a refreshing taste of real mangoes, perfectly complemented by the chewy pearls. The brown sugar tea was rich and satisfying, with a delightful sweetness that wasn’t overpowering. The pearls in both drinks were cooked to perfection, adding a nice texture. The ambiance of the shop was cozy, and the service was friendly. Overall, Cup of Canton is definitely worth a visit for bubble tea enthusiasts!”

If it’s not your thing, I apologize, but more than likely you’ll agree with me, even if it’s not on par with my enthusiasm.His breakfast specials are to die for at times; many of my favorites include his lemon icing or his many stir fry themed meals. When the special isn’t to your liking, my go to is the infamous and ultimate meal, the Jessica’s Bowl! Cinnamon Rolls, Breakfast Sandwiches, Omelets and Skillets, Pancakes, French Toast, Breakfast Plates, and Biscuits and Gravy! Everyone talks about the Biscuits and Gravy. That’s what my Financial Advisor first told us about. He’s gives great counsel in other areas too. Now I’m known to not be a fan of breakfast at restaurants, (you’ll never hear me comment on how badly I want some McDonald’s breakfast, or even most local diners) especially biscuits and gravy, as it’s never as good as homemade…but let me tell you that this is basically homemade, just not at your home.Lunch should be experienced as well. I’m a burger man, and he has some great ones. Buffalo burger specials, chili burger specials, burgers w/ apples (custom/special), or just his traditional homemade, you can’t go wrong. Also need to try chicken noodles, buffalo mac and cheese special, and any of the several sandwiches.I’ll cut this short since I can’t list it all here. Awesome people, local small diner feel, and prices that are from better days long past.Something my wife was told once that makes sense, “Find the place that the older retiree generations seem to regularly occupy, as that means it’s good food and reasonably priced”.Just try it once, most likely I’ll eventually see you there. “The food was alright. Nothing spectacular. I got the Jack n Coke BBQ burger which was good, but dry. They didn't put enough BBQ on it. Everything was very hot though. My friend got the jalapeños burger which she loved, but said it was definitely the hottest sandwich she has ever had. “This place is great! Lots of drink options! At least 16 beers on tap, more in cans, full bar for mixed drinks, and even have high noon and white claw for seltzer drinkers. I was very happy with all the food. We ordered the Bella burger, mufaleta, sweet potato fries, and ghost pepper cheese curds. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. The ambiance is very cool, with typical dive bar decor. I was impressed with the clean bathrooms. Lastly, service was exceptional. All the girls are attentive and friendly. “We jumped off the highway for a quick lunch while on vacation to northern Illinois. Found this place on Yelp. It was an easy stop off the highway. The owner recommended the tenderloin prepared fresh in house. They were even kind enough to serve it in separate baskets with an extra toasted bun. It was perfect. Pounded thin and served crispy with all the fixings. I also recommend the fresh haystack onion rings! Would definitely stop here again if in the area.”

“What a culinary surprise! While walking around Canton's downtown square at lunchtime, we saw Eats on the Street advertised in front of an eclectic emporium of gifts, home decor, and vintage items. We meandered to the back of the store and found the restaurant. We ordered a turkey, bacon, tomato wrap and and the restaurant's renowned chicken salad croissant. The special was Swedish meatballs over pasta. The meatballs were large and plentiful. Our food was fresh, delicious, and individually prepared. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The restaurant is small, but quirky. There are tables that can be moved around to accommodate various sized groups.You can order food and take it with you. I eyed the freshly baked blueberry muffins made that morning. Blueberry muffins are not just for breakfast anymore! The muffin was like a dessert at the end of a meal. It was warmed with a side of butter. We are not from Canton, but we will definitely stop here again when we are out and about. I highly recommend Eats on the Street for breakfast or lunch. I enjoyed looking at the vendor booths as we left the restaurant. A real gem in downtown Canton.”

“We traveled from Bloomington Illinois for a football game in this nice little town of Brimfield. A few of families decided to stop to celebrate our kids winning their first game of the season and this bar/restaurant is awesome for a family to stop in to have dinner and play some games. The food was awesome The service although it was just a few people working was awesome and timely. The kids all enjoyed playing several of the games. They have horseshoe pits, dart boards, basketball to name a few. If we're in the area again we will definitely be stopping by. We would like to thank the management and staff for being awesome.”
