my experience was not the same as others because I went with a group of 20. First of all no one told us that we needed to get our menu's online as we sat waiting for a menu. some of us ordered catfish and it tasted more like swai. it was definitely not catfish. When it was time to pay the bill we were told they were adding $4.50 per person service charge in addition to gratuities because we were a large group. Mind you the website says that an 18% gratuity would be automatically charged for large groups. When we refused to pay that because it was not on the website nor was it told to the person making the reservation. Finally when they brought out the bill they charged us 22% Instead of the 18%.. We were tired of complaining so we decided to pay. Though most of the food was good our group had a terrible experience and we will never return nor will be ever endorse or promote this place.

This is a hip spot with good food and drink. Had a good time on a Saturday night with live music. All of the people that work there were very friendly. The buffalo shrimp were a nice size and fried well. The spinach and artichoke dip was decent. Wife had the salmon with mac n cheese. I had the blackened catfish with asparagus. I enjoyed the catfish but it didn't have that crisp on it like other blackened catfish I've had before. The asparagus were cooked perfectly. Ended the evening with the delicious sticky toffee cake. It had a really nice texture and good sauce.

Stopped in dinner with my wife. Was a GREAT experience. Short wait to get a table. Hostess and owner were very nice and got us a table as soon as one opened up. Live music was really great. I was really impressed with the couple who owns this restaurant. Just read that this is their first restaurant and I was kind of surprised by that. They clearly love what they are doing. They are very friendly. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in this area. Do not pass this place up.

Supperclubs, bars, lounges, concert venues, festivals, cruises, casinos...Opening act, headliner, hse band, ...I played 'Poppin Corks for the 1st time recently.I have OJT knowledge of the restaurant game. This is a new house,and I was impressed. The food, service, ambiance, attention to customer related details was spot on. If anything, they went over and above to give their customers an enjoyable experience; at a comparable market price. I felt like a guest, even tho I was a service employee. I'm not sure of the expectations of some of the posted guest comments.... but for a great time, with other mature adults, in Prime time; not Late night.... You should check it out for yourself. You'll see the #1 sign of great owners and managers: __ "A pleasant and motivated service staff". ☆?☆

I don’t know the waitress name because she didn’t give us her a name but I can say this, we were there on a Saturday night 2/24/24 around 8pm. The waitress had on a top that said “tequila” In colorful letters and she has locs. She wasn’t friendly at all, no hello how are you, no smiling…just a straight face! It was like she hated being there! And it just wasn’t us but she was like that with others. Her energy was TERRIBLE and uninviting. Like I said, I enjoyed the music oh and the host was very friendly and the food was good but I promise, if I go back (more likely I will because I enjoyed the live music)and they try to assign her as our waitress, I’m going to let the owner know, either I get another waitress or I’ll just leave. She can NEVER serve me again!Vegetarian options: I suggest more vegetarian options like a vegetarian taco.

This was my first time dining at Poppincorks Bistro black owned restaurant and it didn't disappoint! The owner is amazing and made sure we enjoyed our experience. The food was amazing and they also have a live band. The spinach artichoke dip was the best spinach artichoke dip I ever had. 1st time at this establishment and it was Superb!! Shianne was the waitress and she was Great. She explained the menu to the whole table. Food was fantastic especially the salmon pasta , spinach artichoke dip and the buffalo shrimps. They have a great bartender also. Everybody should check out and support this Bistro..
