“I have no idea why they do not have 5 stars but I love them and highly recommend them. The service is unmatched by any restaurant. They are always kind. It's clear they want you to come back. I love their professionalism. And their food is just as good as their service if not better. I highly recommended the Philly cheese steak, burgers and wings. They made the mistake of forgetting my coleslaw 1 time (bc they are human) and they fixed it by refunding it without me having to go in. I wish they sold pizza; then they would be our family's 1 stop shop for American favorites. My only other suggestion is to become more consistent with the temperature of your french fries and cheesesticks. Sometimes they are hot and perfect (tastes fresh) other times they taste older. That's it. The entres are always hot with great flavor and I will drive 15 minutes and pass up all the other similar restaurants near me (there are 4 of them) to go straight here. Please keep it up.“

“We enjoyed a lovely meal with delicious food and great service. Joe was our server and was very knowledgeable and attentive. The baked clams were exceptional and the raw oysters were so good! We had several appetizers and each ordered a meal. Zero complaints from us! The pork chop with Marsala mushrooms was amazing! Well done Vinny's, we'll be back!“

“This was my Second time visiting this restaurant, and I brought my guy in to try their food. Ms. Darcy waited on us, and she was warm, and inviting as we walked in. We didn’t even have to get up when our food was ready, Ms. Darcy brought it to us!! He had a catfish dinner, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the chicken wing dinner and it was a hit as well!! We tried the jerk egg rolls as well once we got home and they were good…not spicy enough for my taste though. The atmosphere here was a bit “smoky” I’m sure from the grills but the smoke consumed the dining room atmosphere. Overall, we were pleased with the food and may come back to pick up take out!“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. “The service is top notch and down to earth. The cheese they use is grade A! I've had the deep dish before but wasn't a fan, only because it's too sweet of a sauce for my taste. However I recently tried the thin crust and it worked very well under the cheese with the sausage, bell pepper, onions and mushrooms. Seems like they saute the bell peppers and they are long pieces not diced. It's costly pie but we did get the 18 inch with 4 toppings, which came to $40. But all costs are rising. I would definitely come back to get a personal pizza for myself! I will have them brown the cheese next time. Definitely worth a try. I enjoyed the antipasto salad, just wish they chopped the meat and cheese instead of long slices that were still partially connected. I had to re-cut it which I didn't particularly mind doing but prefer it done for me if I'm paying for it.“

“It was a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday, when I spotted this J & J Restaurant. I went inside to place my order and was immediately impressed by its cleanliness. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean.The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru.I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included:French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide.The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them.As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few.“

“Tried the jerk barbecue rib tips. I wasn't terribly fond of them but then I remembered they were JERK so I settled into the flavor. Next visit I tried the beef short ribs and they were very good with the sweet potatoes and the greens both also good. Last visit I tried the oxtails. They were incredible and I look forward to getting them again. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. However, this time the greens were extremely bland, but that won't stop me from going back.“

“We called for a reservation and spoke to Patrick. It was very busy, but he went out of his way to get us a table. When we arrived, he was very helpful and friendly and so much fun to talk to. We have been going there ever since. You can tell Patrick is very popular with his customers. We love his passion. Cindy is a waitress and is very helpful as well. “Decided to stop in for lunch, usually Pepe's is the go to, but wanted to try something new. Food was unbelievable and the margarita was probably one of the best I've ever had. “Let’s start with the food it has to be probably the most perfectly cooked clean food. I have to also give some props for the customer service, there’s always a sweet young man working in the front that never fails to assist in any way. Atmosphere is inevitable to not be the best as in a 5 star restaurant although for chicken and fish and chicken shop it has to be by far the finest I’ve walked into. For everyone whose has the cravings or interest for any delicious fried food I’d highly recommend.!“

It seems to be new owners that run the place now, the old owners had a problem serving fresh food. The new owners are doing a great job though. Have yet to run into any problems.
