“We eat here weekly. The pizza is the best in the Southland. The bar has a "Cheers" vibe where all are welcome. Pizza is half off on Tuesday and every one in town knows that's the best dinner option! Don't take my word for it, you really must try it out!“

“I haven't tried the food... yet. The drinks were good and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is very good, relaxing and inviting. It's clean and well kept.I saw a lot of people enjoying meals, so I'll have to come back and give their food a dry.“
“Great local bar. Good food and decent specials during the week. Be prepared this bar is not fancy by any means. If you're looking for a shot and a beer joint this is it. Let me not forget to mention the pool tables. Looking for a game? Rack 'em up!“

“I've only been here 3 times. However, it was a different type of atmosphere every time. I came for a party this last time. The food is very good. The service was pretty quick, considering there were only 2 bartenders on a Friday night. I would definitely come back.“

“Was doing a little bar hopping and found this hidden gem. They have pool, slots, darts and Touch Tunes for music which worked for us. Service was friendly and the prices were good too. Didn't serve any wine though so I had to swich up my drinks. All in all, a nice spot!“

“Everything was really really good! I know anyone can make a burger but not everyone can make a GOOD burger. Also, the drinks are so original (I've never had something like it) but so simple. I really liked the popsicocktails (my own name lol) and they have a super extensive shot list. Also, the bartender was cool, vibes were chill, there's pool and skee ball and darts and that punching game at bars sometimes. An affordable, local gem!Parking: Plenty“

“The food here is decent. It's a great atmosphere for what you call a sports bar , but works well with the great service. I whole heartedly expected it to be busy , but it wasn't. There was a good feeling amongst the regulars, and a welcoming vibe. The drinks were a little flat, and light. If I were to try it again then maybe , I'd pic something new off the menu.“
“A nice small neighborhood bar for midlothians. There is a pool table and some diverse size televesions. Not much beer on tap or in the house. The ceilings are low and gives this bar a unique basement small time look that is rare nowdays in the gastropub era.“
“I just stopped @ Jack's Place for the first time. Luckily, I did not base my decision based on a negative review. Tanya is a friendly, attentive and a great bartender. It just so happens that I was looking for a new bar to ride my motorcycle to and I have defiantly found it. I will also tell my friends. Tanya, please leave the light on for me because I will be back. Thank you, Tricia“
“Sportsman's is a staple in the south suburban area, newly updated on the inside and the outside patio area. Drinks are very reasonable and the staff is on point. A great place to make lots of memories from 12pm to 8PM, that's the older crowd and 8 and beyond is for the much younger crowd, but overall it's a great place!!!“
“This place has an extremely unassuming presence from the outside. They have a menu so diverse, I wasn't expecting anything to be done particularly well, but boy was I mistaken. When you walk in, you will notice some slot game machines on one wall and a bar to your right. There are tables along the wall and a whole separate room with more tables/booths. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, perhaps around 14:30 and we were greeted by the Bartendress Sarah informing us that we could have a seat anywhere we'd like. We chose the high top table by the slot machines near the bar. Sarah brought us menus and took our drink order- water for me and coke for my BF. I wasn't feeling well, as I had not eaten all day and was feeling carsick. It was then that I recalled that soda water with bitters helps nausea- so I asked Sarah for that as well- without ice. She kindly asked whether I'd like a pint or a smaller glass, I responded the pint. When she brought it over, she asked if it was the right color, as she wasn't sure how strong to make it. I tasted it and it was perfect. My BF ordered the burger cooked medium with cheddar cheese, fried egg, and bacon with fries. I ordered the soup of the day which happened to be like Rueben- I forget the actual name of it- broth with mainly corned beef and sauerkraut, with some potatoes and carrots. It also came with some saltine-like crackers. My soup and the bitters slowly revived me from the brink of death. Thank you Sarah and thank you 5th quarter! My BF loved his 7oz burger. It was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The fries looked like they were battered and reminded me of when id ordered get fish and chips at an Irish pub in the past. We were both happy with our decision to eat here and will definitely be back., not only because we want to try more of the food, but because of Sarah's customer service. Burger $7 + sharp cheddar $0.95 + fried egg $0.95 + real bacon $0.95 Bowl of soup $3.79 Coke $2.25 Bitters and soda water $2.25 Meal + tax = ~ $20“

“Clean hang out. Nice open atmosphere. The metal bathroom stalls are odd. LoLI haven't tried the food, yet. The bartenders are nice and quick.Someone told me that they crank up the heat at night to get people out faster so they could close. It was like 80° in there so... I believe it.“

“I've been here with some friends a couple of times and they don't disappoint. The service is great, the bartenders are really good, the food is really good and it gets a bit crowded but you never feel closed in. The outside accommodation was comfortable even when it was cold out, and the lower level option was great since we had a few more people. I was missing an item and called to explain the situation and they fixed it right away, no hassle or complications. We will definitely be back for our monthly get togethers!!!“
