Worst eating experience of my life, I took my daughter for a let lunch today, it was cold inside and clutter was throughout the place on the counters tables vacuum cleaners in the middle of the floor. It was only one person working it may have been the owner, I ordered a couple rolls and he went in back to make them. They tasted nothing like the rolls I have eaten at other sushi restaurants over the last 25 years. My daughter and I had a couple pieces and were done. After I ordered the check, he insisted that we take the food home for a late night snack, we told him no thank you. he brought out a to go container and picked the food off my plate with his bare hands, all the rolls wasabi and ginger and smashed it together in the worlds smallest to go container. Im Done, close this place ASAP

Ordered food for delivery at 7:30pm… it is now 9pm and still no food. Hoping it’ll even be any good by the time it does finally arrive. Won’t order here again.

This place is so good! All the food tasted delicious and fresh. Super friendly staff and portions are generous. Will definitely be ordering from them again ☺️

This place is the BEST! I literally am in shock at the 3 star review and people who leave one star for late delivery are..... The tom kha and pad kee mau are AMAZING and so full of vegetables and saucy and its BYOB currently. Favorite thai place in oak/forest park area.

Only had one cook and one wait staff. I'm thinking they were the owners. There were two groups, 3 and 4 and then me picking up food. The group of four left cause it was so slow. Check before you come and have a back up dinner spot!!! Good food though took an hour when they said 30-40 minutes

This was a favorite for sushi when it first opened. I’m sorry to say, it has really gone downhill. We had OK experiences before the pandemic & wanted to try it again. This was our last time ordering from Bua Hana. We orders take out, it was on time & ready for pick up, staff was friendly, but the sushi rolls were not good. Not sure if ownership has changed, sadly we will no longer order or dine here.

I always stop by buying some food in this spot. I like the efficient service and well cooked food. I recommend this place.

Had a delightful impromptu lunch with my very particular 6 year old daughter who inhaled all the steamed chicken potstickers before I could even think about eating one. Tom Yum soup was one of the best I’ve had. Brought home dinner for the rest of the fam and they loved it - shrimp in clay pot, lumpia rolls, shumai, and Pad Bamee. Service was great, too.

Delicious food with many gluten free options and excellent service. Floor to ceiling windows open all summer for an outdoor seating vibe.

Great restaurant! They have both Thai food and Japanese food which I found to be a good combination. I went with three friends and we all ordered different things which all tasted delicious. The server was VERY polite and accommodating and told us that “there are no stupid questions”. Would recommend and dine again!

Tonite I ordered 1) Bua Hana Shrimp Rolls (fresh, cool & crisp in rice paper) 2) Pad Se Ewe With vegetables 3) Chicken & Vegetable Gyoza 4) Edamame I am very particular & I like this place. My feedback for them )if they read this) Shrimp spring rolls: consistently absolutely delicious & a generous portion could use a side of a chili paste to cut the sweet sauce that is included. Gyoza: slightly over charred (yet ok for me) however very thoughtfully made, you can tell they were handmade and had really nice flavor. Pad Se Ewe: perfect, not a huge portion but just right for the value price. Edamame: surprisingly was my least favorite not plump, but tasted fresh/ could use a bit of salt. I definitely am happy to support this restaurant and like that the food tastes authentic and the people working there are friendly & careful.

This was the first time eating at Bua Hana, but won't be the last. We ended up ordering takeout as our usual sushi place is closed on Tuesday. The food was very good, we had mostly sushi, a couple appetizers, and crab fried rice. It seemed that the cooked items had been finished first, so weren't hot when I got them home, but warmed them a little in the microwave and all was good. The sushi was very good and I watched the chefI'm looking forward to trying some of their other dishes

We were visiting from out of town and decided on Bua Hans Thai. Everything was fantastic and one of the better Thai restaurants I have dined at. The waiter asked how spicy you want it. We picked 3 out of 10 and it was still a little spicier than I would prefer. Regardless, the food was really good.

I don’t like this place. It was freezing inside so I ordered green Tea and asked that they adjust the thermostat. My tea was forgotten and my soup was cold. My sushi was mixed up with my friends so we had to share a plate across the table. I ordered the pepper steak assuming it would come with a small side of white rice. It doesn’t. It was also not hot And not good at all . Service was also mediocre
