It's hard to find good Mexican these days. I was very impressed with Cactus Grill. The food was excellent; fresh, great taste, and high quality meats! And the staff are super nice. It's our new go-to in the area.

I forgot to take a picture of my tacos ? and fajita nachos. Tacos al pastor were very, very good. But the nachos fajita were too salty. I am surprise that Chicago has great authentic places for Mexican tacos only. Speaking from a nativa Chilanga. Come and try it. (Note: prices are ittle higher).

First of all, i feel like the food is overpriced, and when I asked for a certain way of the meat being cooked, they didn't do it.. meat had a soapy tasteThey had no ice and charged extra for just the tiniest things.

The staff was okay no hair nets or gloves as they prepare food.My food was cold before we got home which is only 5 minutes away from this location.The nachos only have cheese in one area and the rest was just hard chips with no cheese.The quality of good food doesn't matter in any restaurants.

I’ve been coming here for over a year now and I never had an issue ordering the food how I liked up until a month ago the lady doesn’t allow you to choose different toppings on tacos. How do you tell a customer what they can or can’t have on their own food that they’re paying for. I’ll be taking my business to Chirrion near by and I suggest you do to! Ridiculous!

We had Cactus Grill cater a dinner for about 25 people at a local venue. The food was amazing! We got chicken, beef and veggie trays for tacos and a huge pan of guacamole and chips. People kept saying how delicious it was. The tray of Elotes was especially yummy. Everything arrived on time and hot. Great food, Great service!Dietary restrictions: They worked with me to find gluten free and vegetarian options.
Always pass this place and never thought to order from them until we woke up hungover and in desperate need of a breakfast burrito at 12:30 pm. They don't have these on the website menu but we called and they very kindly said they could do it! Usually comes with chorizo, but I don't eat meat and so they did it without and then also added fries at my request - I lived in San Diego for years and have had a hard time finding anywhere that will do a "California style" burrito so I was very excited about that. Very nice flaky tortilla, great eggs, and decent salsa. All in all got two very large burritos, side of rice and refried beans for about $9 each. Would definitely go back!

You would not think that this place has incredible Al Pastor tacos, but they do. Solid taqueria and good prices also.

Food was delicious. Salsa was fresh and flavorful. Meat was tender and well seasoned. Owners complimented my Spanish and said it was perfect when i came with my boyfriend who is Dominican. We had the quesabirria tacos, carne asada & spicy corn. We will definitely be coming back. Service was wonderful. Ambiance was authentic and loved the vibes of the space.
