Excellent service. Large portions. Food was okay but not great. Handmade gnocchi is what I had. It was handmade but not very flavorful and not rolled like normal ones. Came with salad with plenty of lettuce, 2 olives, small part of a tomato. Table bread was okay but only olive oil and cheese, I like butter. Bread wasn't warm but it was bread.4 adults and 1 child, 4 wines, a lemonade and a Guinness and a sprite. Almost $200 with tip.

Wonderful food , amazing meatballs,minestrone soup, cavatelli pasta , homemade bread, forgetta bouttt it, but not like forget about it but forgettta bouutt it like a Lincoln being better then a Cadillac, and this restaurant the Cadillac. Eating here again !

Made a reservation for a luncheon. Owner claims someone called to change the time. He did not get a name or confirm with me. As a result claimed we were late, and charged an extra fee on my credit card without my knowledge. Owner called my sister to complain about me after I talked to him about the unauthorized charge. Not too customer friendly. I would not recommend.

We had a soccer pizza party of 20, there seemed to be an error on the restaurants end with the reservation that was made 10days prior event. When calling to confirm the 4pm luncheon in the morning the day of. I could tell owner was annoyed and when we got there even though nobody was in the back room but our party some of us parents felt the staff were kinda of unfriendly and annoyed. One of the parents even heard the owner and the bartender making remarks about our party. We had a group of 4 that rsvp and didn’t show not sure if the extra seated places were a factor. We paid $600 for 6 pizzas, 2 bowls of salad and 2 pasta dishes that were less than a full catering tray. Our alcohol tab was separate and another $125. We asked for pitchers of coke and sprite with our package, but got Coke and Diet Coke that was flat. We felt rushed by staff as there was party expected across from where we were seated. Servers were taking plates when folks still had pieces of pizza in hand. The staff was not very friendly, they seemed bothered and our group was not any trouble. I have no problem spending $’s however many of us parents didn’t see the value ($25 per person). We were better off ordering off the menu individual meals that came with an option of soup or salad but I was told that was not an option with a group of 20. I used to come here with the family all the time years back, waitstaff Gina and Grace were always so nice. I guess things have changed…

4 old friends converged here for the 1st time and couldn't have been more delighted. It wasn't busy on tues evening, and we are all 70+ in age, some w mobility issues. James was superb as server, very pleasant and accommodating and still gave us plenty of time to dine. It felt like a family table. The house wines were excellent (I had chianti, my mother enjoyed a crisp pinot grigio - Jimmy's favorite we were told) and the mixed drinks got big thumbs up to the bartender. We spent well over 2 hours with our reunion. Enjoyed a very nice limoncello for desert!Plenty of food- we all had ample carryout.Parking: We got lucky and found free street parking on Madison. It could be more difficult on weekends but there is city parking structure nearby- I didn't need to look further...

Pizza was off and service was strange . What happened new owners or what ?. Pizza crust and taste was pretty bland not crisp as had a different make up as in the past . Asked for an OldStyle in a bottle and got a draft and told me it was OldStyle. Really. Did not recognize one server what up ?

I have been coming here since my T-ball baseball parties in the 90's. The cavatelli with vodka sauce is my favorite go to. The side of garlic bread and meatballs are a must. Also the chicken ceaser salad was nicely dressed. We came on a busy night with a few parties and live music ( who was outstanding by the way).

Jimmy's never disappoints! The cavatelli with vodka sauce was delicious, as well as the sausage. We also had the salmon and t bone steak. Portion for the salmon was a bit small, but it tasted great. One of these days, I’ll dine in but today running around in the rain, literally finishing up my Christmas shopping I craved so homemade Italian cooking and Jimmy’s Place did not disappoint. Great communication, fast delivery and the food was just what I needed.I ordered the Rotini w/Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce, Sausage and Spinach. Enough for dinner tonight and tomorrow.The bread! Nice surprise, was warm and fresh. Get the Antipasto salad, worth the additional $3.50
