I live in the UK and wanted to surprise a friend who lives in Chicago with a birthday cake. These guys were willing to go the extra mile, literally, and deliver for me as it was a little tricky for me to collect. My friend was very happy with the cake.

The quality isn't the same. I recently purchased an 8 inch buttercream cake with fresh strawberries. It was collapsed in the middle and didn't taste fresh. When I contacted them to let them know what happened, they didn't offer anything for my bad experience. I have been a customer for over 25 years and unfortunately I won't be back. I paid over $35 for this cake. This was my second bad experience. The last time the cake was good but decorated horribly. Like an amateur did it. I'm very disappointed!

This place is great! I ordered two pies before Thanksgiving. When I came in to pick up my order, I also bought a chocolate croissant and raspberry croissant. Everything was delicious! I'll be back to try more goodies.

This is a bakery my mother would have felt at home. Back in the 70s, she would have stopped at the local bakery to pick up a load of bread; if I was lucky I might have scored a cookie. Today, I had the Dark Chocolate Coconut Macaroon.

The brownies are still great (same as when this place was Kay's). The cookie was just OK, and I think this was supposed to be a chocolate croissant, but it wasn't flaky and barely had any chocolate.

Very nice people and what I had was good. However, I asked for a cherry turnover and they gave me a guava/cheese thing. A little annoyed when I went to open the bag and seen that in there. Just make sure you check what you get before you leave I guess.

I placed an order for a memorial service and Stephanie was extremely helpful in helping me determine the quantities and types of cookies we wanted. She ensured the cookies were delivered exactly when and where I requested. She made a difficult time much easier and I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend Forest Park Bakery.

I adore Forest Park bakery. It's a cute local bakery with TONS of options - from pastries, donuts, and bageldogs?! I stop by every once in awhile and am always greeted with friendly, helpful service. I have only done takeout orders, but they do have some seating inside. The pricing is VERY reasonable. I bought an eclair, guava and cheese pastry, twisted donut, and raspberry turnover for less than $10. I appreciate that the baked goods are never too sweet. Highly recommend!
