This cantina is not your typical Mexican eatery, at least based on my experience SO FAR. The flavors of my taco salad were mild and creamy, delicious layers of refritos, rice, tender chicken, salad, and topped with a fresh guacamole and sour cream in a freshly fried tortilla bowl. I will be back to taste the steak tacos, burritos, and enchiladas on the menu! To drink, I had a generous mug of a wonderful non-alcoholic "cucumber limeade".I have seen this place hopping almost every time I drive by, but I was there early Sunday afternoon and it was a chill atmosphere (with a steady stream of take-out customers. )You order and pay at the counter as you enter before you sit down, but the experience was like a restaurant after that, with chips and sauces, an attentive waitress, etc. I rather liked being able to just go when I finished without waiting for a bill and payment.Try this place if you want to try something a little different in Mexican cuisine!

Great Salsa Verde and the al pastor was perfect! Good fattiness, crispy meat, and pineapple! Great prices, loved the Thursday taco special.

Shrimp taco platter for lunch is so good! The waitress AND the cook had a smile on their faces every time a customer came in. Amazing service! They both deserve a raise!!!

Awful. This place is terrible. I don’t know how they survive. 2 tacos a Diet Coke can and 2 tablespoons of guacamole was $13.50. Look at my photo. The chicken tacos are awful. They didn’t put the onion and cilantro on it and its orange cubed breast meat. Gross. They charged me $4.99 for the small guacamole which is about 2 tablespoons. No chips. Never again. There is so much good Mexican in the area I should not have stopped her just because it was convenient.

Tacabron is hit or miss with the steak tacos. There are some days the steak tacos are seasoned well & some days you are just eating bland tacos. The rice and beans are always consistent. The restaurant is always neat and tidy. A 3 steak taco dinner will cost you around 14 dollars & that's a lunch special from 10am-3pm.

Very bland food, but the restaurant is clean and looks nice inside. The cocktails were tasty, but I wouldn't recommend the food. There were 3 of us, all eating taco dinners, and the waitress brought us 3 spoons and 1 fork. It was too hilarious for us to be mad about it, but I won't be going there again.

Always kind employees, good asada tacos, tasty aguas frescas, and fast. A really easy place to pick up from on a busy weeknight or a casual date spot.
