We were just dashing and ubering along. We picked up an order. Told my wife that it smelled really good. So we went back to check the place out. The restaurant is ran by the husband and wife very cute couple. Love the vibes that they bring to the restaurant. We ordered two soda cans and mozzarella sticks, fries with the side of BBQ. My wife ordered Chicago style hot dog. All the food was on top notch. It was served hot and well cooked fries it has skin on them. I love homemade fries. Will we go there again yes we will. Oh there is a dollar beer too and a gambling room. Kid friendly too. They got pictures to color on and they post it on the wall too so you know they are very appreciative when it comes to guest regardless if they are adults and children. All people are welcome. Well I am off now but catch me on kitchen conversations where my kitchen is your kitchen. Bye now

Heads use this app for directions, it will lead you a house. You're going to have to Google map it. The food, we stopped by for the pizza puff..can't get it in California and we were in the neighborhood. So I made it a point to find a place that served them. Not better or worse than other pizza puffs. Why give it 5 stars. Two reasons 1. Always support local restaurants when you can, especially when the food doesn't stink. 2. The guy working was cool to talk to. He ended up sharing some of his personal deer sausage links with me to take home. Tried it and it was super good. I don't know if I will be back to the area but if I do, I will stop by again.

Food is good they stopped serving Gyros because their supplier changed to the kind of gyro you can buy at Jewel...its nice to see owners that know they shouldnt serve that..

Dogs On The Chain is a little family owned hot dog joint located on highway 12 and being my first time there the experience was exquisite! The owners were so sweet and polite and very very fast with orders even as the place was starting to get packed. I must say for a one man kitchen the food was spectacular and didn’t receive a single complaint at our table, everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Everything you could possibly want from Chicago style hot dogs to burgers for a very reasonable price, great atmosphere and friendly hospitality! I must say if you are new to the area or want to support your local mom and pop shop, Dogs On The Chain is a must visit in Fox Lake! Keep up the tasty work guys!
