I had to kill some time, realized I was hangry! I stumbled across this quaint little place and I'm so happy I did. My fat self wanted biscuits and gravy which looked amazing. However my "it's almost summer" self decided on Avocado toast. It was absolutely delicious! Kiki-an adorable young gal who brightened my day was a wonderful server. I listened to her interactions with customers and everyone was laughing and smiling. It's mainly a breakfast and lunch place but they are open until 8:00 PM. I highly recommend this place.

Neat looking restaurant, but won't be back. The breakfast ham was very good, but our food didn't meet our average standards (asked for over medium & crispy bacon, got sunny side up, undercooked and limp). Then the smell from the bathroom traveled throughout the restaurant and it was unbearable. 15 minutes later, it was covered with a fog of floral air fresheners. Not sure if it was a customer mishap in the loo or a sewer problem. Either way, we won't be back.

We enjoyed one of the many specials of the day. Pot roast sandwich on grilled sour dough bread with Swiss cheese and grilled onions. Cup of soup sweet potato fries delicious. First time in awhile we were back can't comment on other dishes, menu has changed.

Great bustling and busy lil cafe! Great selection of different breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all priced and portioned accordingly. Just a short walk southwest of the Metra station. Weekends are very busy, but we visited on a Friday afternoon about 4:30pm and was nearly empty. Great little nostalgic train restaurant.
