Ordered two meals and a crab Rangoon only to find a teaspoon amount of filling in the Rangoon. Was not expecting 6 fried air pockets. With two meals only to receive three soy sauce packages seems wrong. Since new ownership prices went up and quality has went down. This place used to be great but I believe my business/money will be elsewhere when I want Chinese food.

Decent takeout Chinese food in South suburbs. Good portions, food temperature hot if you pick up right away. Dinner and lunch deals are worth it, comes with soda and egg roll. Lady in restaurant talks fast, very nice.
Been coming here for pick-up for over a year and food has always been great. But last Friday 11.3.23, I had to throw away over $30 of food. The appetizers were dried out and tasteless, the shrimp fried rice was gummy and salty and the egg Foo young had the thickest, tasteless gravy ever. It was horrible. I hope they get the old cook back. Also hope owners did not change again.

Vegetarian options: I love this place so much. I have to be gluten free so I always order Steamed vegetables and put my own sauce on at home. Everything is hot and fresh. Such kind service! 10 out of 10!

Basic looking strip mall Chinese restaurant in Frankfort is what you get. It's pretty basic Americanized Chinese food but it's still not that bad to be honest. New Hong Kong actually still manages to be among the best Chinese places in town. Just have the right expectations. There's not enough room for eating in, so it's only for takeout it seems. A good place for picking up some cheap a** Chinese. It was close to where we were so it was convenient to make an order. The menu has the typical kind of stuff. It's about $10 for a lunch entree. Vegetarian menu is pretty small. Only has a few choices. Then only a few of these ones have tofu in it unfortunately. Ma Po Tofu is one of these. The recipe doesn't include pork like at many other places so it really is vegetarian. It's what we got. The tofu was firm and it had a good spice with some vegetables like broccoli and peppers. Had a pretty good experience and the woman wasn't that rude so it wasn't like as others have said when they ordered from here. It's only a place for carryout so Community Park across the street is a good place to sit and eat an order. The food may not be authentic but it's the basic strip mall stuff so whatever.

Holy crap. The experience here is like something out of a Saturday Night Live skit. This woman is a complete PSYCHO. Never got my food as I just ended up leaving after waiting 25 minutes (after the original 25 she told me). Anytime I asked about my order she'd yell at me in Chinese. Lol She was yelling at a customer on the phone in between and hung up on them. Told them to "call back when you know what you're talking about". Food must be amazing if anyone would come back here. Lol
