This restaurant gives extraordinary service and delightful food. The best restaurant ever. The food came out fast and the rates were reasonable. Recommended.

I was finally able to check out this spot. They have hot foods ready to go, canned goods, and frozen stuff. No fresh produce for sale. I purchased some of my favorites Lumpia, Turon de bananas, Pork skewers, and Pancit. It was all really good. I did have to re-heat some stuff because it was barely warm.

Amazing friendly owners, Grace and her family. They were helpful in explaining everything and even let me try a desert of theirs! I had their fried crispy pork and lumpias (egg rolls) and they were so good! Definitely coming back! It's a grocery store but have a kitchen and pseudo restaurant in the back. Love that I don't have to drive super far for good Filipino food. If you haven't had Filipino food then you missing out it is the soul food of Asian cuisine!

UPDATE with a downgrade 9/2018 So. .I went there a couple of weeks ago, at least an hour and a half before closing. Door was locked but all the lights were on and I saw someone inside so I knocked, thinking maybe it was just for security? The lady opened the door and kind of barked at me, "Yes, can I help you?" I asked if they were often and she said "What do you want?!". I should have walked away right then, but the food was so good last time and I didn't want to cook so I pressed on and said "I don't know yet, I need to look". Not much in the way of groceries anymore and she made ZERO attempts to make me feel at all welcomed. I went to the counter and didn't really see any food like the last time I was there. Really just some bangus and empanadas or something. I guess I won't be back. . . FANTASTIC Beefsteak w Onions and Kare Kare yesterday!!! There where so many options I had to pry myself away from the counter. Sisig, bangus, kare kare, mixed adobo jackfruit w coconut milk and vegetables. Too bad its sooo far from me. . .or maybe thats a good thing?

Tiny little store that carries all kinds of Filipino products but what makes it awesome is Ricky the owner who cooks all kinds of goodies including my favorite Filipino food in the world "LUMPIA!"

Just tried the lunch special which is rice with two main entrees. I had the longinisa and the pork adobo. Both were just as mom would have made it. For only $6.99, it was a steal. Picked up a few other goodies while I was perusing the grocery store part. The owner/manager was very nice. He greeted me in filipino, but when I told him I didn't speak the language he quickly switched to English without a second thought. It's too bad that this place is so far in the back of the strip mall. I never noticed it before jumping onto Yelp! I will definitely return when I get that yearning for a home cooked meal!

Way cheaper than GG Oriental... It used to be pricy until GG came along, and new owner..

Not many Filipino food options on this side of town. if Wifey not cooking...best to come here for your "Flip" jones than to drive to Bloomingdale or Niles. Owner Tess is very sweet and accommodating and will assist your every need. We use it mostly for prepared foods...fried fish, kari-kari, menudo pork adobo, etc. Pancit needs to be ordered aheads of time. And garlic peanuts of course. Also can pick up the Philippine newspaper here. if your looking for Flip DVD's they are here also....but since we have the Filipino channel at home we have no need. Go over to NMOM and have Tess take care of you.
