When I order a Gyro, I expect it to be done and ready to eat. I don't want to build a Gyro. I've never EVER, at any restaurant that I've ordered, have been given a gyro like this. If I didn't want onions or tomatoes on it I would've told you, so that's no excuse. I wonder if the rest of what's on the menu is handed out like this... first time and last time here smh.

Ice Cold buns on a hotdog, cold topping, who does that? You end up eating a cold hotdog, fries are sold separately, too much money for the small portionssmall portions, bad food too much $$

Ordered a Gyro and small fries. Do not recommend it. Whoever makes these here should be retrained, the sauce goes all over it, not just a little bit on one end the gyro was very dry. The fries are typical reheated fries nothing special.

Gyros was good size and had alot of flavor. Was pretty good. Fries are ok...would love steak fries. not allowed to make a left turn onto grand after the drive through...

King gyro is pretty large. Not the best ever but very good. I don't hesitate to eat here. I cant speak to the other items but judging by the gyro, it should be on the good to better side than the other places in the immediate area. It's actually the only place that I've noticed in this area. I go and try it if you were curious. Thumbs up for the Gyro and fries.

I went through the drive-thru for my son who got a beef sandwich. I didn't actually eat there, but the fact that my son did? That's GOTTA mean that they have good food as he is the pickiest eater I have ever encountered in my life. Plus, he didn't get just a plain hamburger or chicken nuggets - his usual choice - he actually got a beef sandwich, which is NOT on his usual menu choices. So I'm looking forward to actually eating there one day soon.

Second time in this place both times they got my order wrong every time I go in there I order a polish with mustard and onions first time I place my order I was charge for two hot dogs with fries inside the bag was two hot dogs with fries which I did not order brought it to the guys attention he gave me the hot dogs and a polish the way I ordered my meal (I thought the first time was just a flick) my husband went back today placed our order and they still not get the order right very angry but the owner made it right thank you unfortunately won’t be coming back

First time to try this local restaurant. Very pleased . They were closed for a few days for roof repairs . Plenty of parking , drive thru is also available. We went inside to order and takeout . Ordered gyros salad bowl, chopped cucumbers , onions ,chopped tomatoes, feta cheese, chopped green peppers . And tsaziki(?) Sauce . Asked about kalamata olives , would have been extra- $2.69(?) He said "they're expensive now" . He said they don't put them on the salad because "they have pits and people could break a tooth ". Which is why I give it 4stars ... WHAAAT?? Adults know enough that there are pits . Also ordered Greek salad, which guess what .. comes with kalamata olives !! 6! There are 2 sizes of the gyros salad , reasonably priced . Most places not only include the olives but also include a few triangles of pita bread . Maybe that's how they are keeping prices down. Also offered is chicken gyros , shawarma, gyros sandwiches , can add chicken to salads . Hummus and pita , will go back again when I visit in the area .

Absolutely LOVE this place. Reasonably priced, good service, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. A lot of restaurants have increased their prices and scaled back on the serving sizes but not Katz's Gyros. This is the place to go to get a taste of Chicago. The have all of the cuisines Chicago is famous for and a whole lot more. Can't wait to go back! ?✔✔✔

Let me start of by saying this, this place has amazing gyroz. Nice thick cut on the meat. No skimming done here. The first place that also chops their onions and tomatoes. Definitely a spot to try their gyros if haven't done so already. The only negative thing I have to say is that why would any one have Marinara sauce that is basically water. This is something that needs to be a lil on the thick side.
