I really miss this place. As far as I know there was a fire at the hotel connected to the restaurant. This is the reason they probably.had to close. I miss them. I hope they reopen or relocate.

One of the best steak tacos in the Chicago area and that is not an exaggeration. I've eaten my fair share at many of the top spots. This unassuming restaurant surely gets driven past by many hungry people.... Stop. Walk in and enjoy some delicious Mexican food.Beef soup. Absolutely fabulous food. Travelled straight from Australia and met Juan the owner. Family owned for years and the foods spectacular. Nice meeting you mate. Great find. !!

Before I even eat , I am putting a good word for this place just on the fact good people still exist. Friendly place! Greeted warmly as soon as I walked in. So, I went in today to get some dinner. I am just visiting this area for work. I walked across the street with a single debit card in my pocket ( in a hurry) and apparently as soon as I walked in the door my card jumped out of my pants. I asked if they had Apple Pay, negative. I walked back across the street , checked my vehicle and checked my hotel room , I even retrace my steps. I finally resigned and went back to the restaurant to apologize for having them cook the food and lo and behold, Juan, one of staff members had found my card on the entrance mat. Even threw in a cold coke on the house ! Post Dinner / Follow up: They keep their rating ! If you pass this place up you are truly missing out! One of the best Steak Quesadillas I've come across , had my mouth jumping for the next bite . Not the typical tortilla, but Perfectly melted cheese and juicy steak in the form of a pupusa . I almost want to go back for seconds but I will make sure to stop by again before I leave ! Give your taste buds a reward and stop in! Thanks again Juan!

First time trying it out. Always love giving restaurants a chance but sadly my expectations were tarnished for these reasons: -Tacos are small and costly plus not much flavor -ordered 8 tacos and got two hot sauces for them? -Only one employee (guess he was the cook) was very nice and took my order despite being others which seemed like in a sour mood or something(never welcomed me or even at the very least showed a tad bit of hospitality

Back in November 2019, I got stranded in Chicago when a snowstorm blew in and turned my hour or so layover into a one-night stay at a dingy motel.I'd hardly eaten on the nine hour flight home from London after a huge breakfast. I was absolutely famished by the time I got checked in after being stranded a few hours at ORD.This place was right across the street from the hotel, and it hit the spot with Hawkeye-caliber bullseye. The man who helped me was super nice and my burrito bowl was one of most delicious I'd ever had.If I ever get back to Chicago, I'm making a point to visit this place again.Gracias, Compadres.

How this place only has 4.5 stars and not 5 is beyond me. Evening tasted fresh and was amazing. They make everything day of and it shows, I could taste the freshness of the peppers in the green sauce. The refried beans are so good they make you pause. the sopes just pure flavor. I'm only in town for 3 days and I'll be back

Great food every time. Owners are fantastic. Nice place to take the family or a date night. They have a lot going on and you can have events next door.

We got here just as they were closing (hour time change threw us off) but they made us feel welcome quickly got us an order of steak tacos - by far the best tacos I have ever had. 5 tacos and a beer were $21.
