“This is another great family owned and operated buisness. They have a wide variety of specialty sandwiches. They offer variety of dinner options. I haven't used the catering before but I'm sure these guys are good at it. The restaurant is a hidden gem and need to look for it a little. It's clean and didn't see any signs of insects, etc....The specialize in Mexican food but as I said they have multiple specialty dinners that are not Mexican. I personally ordered a patty melt to see how they tasted, and it was great. Please support family owned businesses. I think corporate will do fine. “I will definitely come back for the carne asada torta that tasted charboiled with the soft bun. Also, the warm and soft lengua tacos with the green salsa. They pack the tacos with lots of meat and 2 tortillas each. Horchata tasted homemade with a fine grain and obvious cinnamon flavor. Overall, everything was well made and flavored.“
“I had the Caldo de 7 mares was great. Big portion nothing to complain about. My father had the shrimp cocktail which he loved and the portion was also good. My girlfriend and two kids had the chicken and steak fajitas. Great portion enough for the three. I recommend...5 stars all the way down.?“
“Best Rosca De Reyes I've bought.The chapurrado did taste, literally, like sweet water (and not with a thick consistency).The tamales were supposed to be red pork and green chicken but they were just a bit too greasy for my taste. The green ones had more of a redish/greenish color. Not the typical green I'm used to getting from the Melrose Park or Cicero location (idk if they're run by different owners). It was also giving a hit of sweet corn tamales (not sure if it was because of the leafs)...I wasn't a fan of it. I gotta say, the portion sizes were a bit bigger than the other locations.The place was very clean, full of goodies (large variety), and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The crew appeared to be working great. Great team effort. I would definitely consider going back.“

“Stopped in for takeout not knowing what we really wanted. I was giving a first-time European visitor the American experience. The staff that was there was so gracious and wanted to help us place our order and asked a few times if we needed help. We were just going to slowly go through the menu on the kiosk. On a scale of 1 to 10 Taco Bell food rates around a five anyway that's why I gave it a little lower rating. It's not the best tasting food in the world but it does the job. We especially enjoyed the nachos Bell grande. The European really liked Baja blast Frozen drink!“
“This is a lovely kiche spot for good family Mexican. I especially love the Gorditas, the best I've had. The food is always been great quality and you can't beat the price. It's clean, and for anyone in the area, it is fun to see how they worked the place from an old fashioned ice cream shop. The service is great, watched and accommodate gluten free easily, and are just Kind and Nice. Really a great local small business to support.Dietary restrictions: They understand gluten free. Brought out corn tortillas for the queso.“

He has meals off menu that he likes to offer because he tries new things. The love of cooking is in everything he does. The service has always been really good, no matter who we get.
