The hotel is in the middle of the downtown. It has several places around to shop, dine and have some drinks. The hotel was cleaned and it had good amenities (for the price). We went for a wedding and it met our expectations.

Stayed here over the weekend. Lobby was clean. Staff was friendly. Rooms were nice. Bathrooms could you a facelift. Can't quite put my finger on it, but even though the bathroom was clean, it felt a little dirty. Elevators were strange. They didn't stop evenly on the floors, and were extremely slow. Front sliding doors banged open when opening. Continental breakfast in the mornings was servicable.

This is our second stay at this location and the hotel is quite nice especially at their price point. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always smiling. The breakfast is good with many choices. The pool and work out center are quite adequate. We visit Freeport to see family and friends and the Hampton Inn will be in our future plans.

There was only one working elevator and with only one luggage cart, getting to my 7th floor room took awhile since I had to carry everything. There was someone else's hair by the sink which was a bit gross. Breakfast was good. If this was a $80 night I would feel so bad but I expected more for $130.

The hotel did have a flood in the basement. You could not use the pool or fitness room. Some of the hallways did smell like mold. Only 1 elevator was working most of the weekend. The hotel was totally booked. So there were long wait times for the elevator.

The hotel was quite clean. The price was very much affordable. The people that were working were nice and helpful. The room was nice enough. There was space as I was on a corner. The area around the hotel isn’t the greatest looking at night but I walked around in the morning and it seemed fine. The free breakfast was underwhelming.

No upgrade available. Poor quality toilet paper. Wobbly furniture. Noisy room air conditioner and squeaky mattress springs on both beds. Also juice machine broken. Restaurant was equally bad a long wait for your food and the chicken entree was lousy tasting.

The Hampton Inn Freeport provided a great lodging for 3 days for us. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was fine and the "BOURBON" restaurant - OMG!! Outstanding meal, and we have pretty high standards. The chef was a master of the New Orleans style dishes.

Everything about my stay was pleasant. The staff very welcoming and helpful. The building is beautiful. I had a pleasant view from my corner 7th floor room of the quaint downtown area. Complimentary breakfast had many choices including a hot breakfast. Very convenient parking. Food and small town shopping close by. No Uber or Lyft but the taxi companies in town are only $5 to go anywhere in town.

The room was clean, but didn’t feel very private. Maybe a couch would help take the echo away. Food was great, service was excellent. The bed….. not the best, and was a bit squeaky. I’d probably stay here again because it’s close to where we hold our conference every year.

I was there for a funeral. During check in I informed the front desk person my mom would be with me and we needed two beds. I booked a double bed she said they didn’t have any left. She assured me a roll out bed would be out in the room. I informed her my mom would be there before me so we left a key at the desk for her. I informed her I would be in late so have the rollout already set up so I can go to be bed. When I arrived it was 3:30 am I stood at the desk for close to 2 hrs and no one ever came because guess what no roll out bed. Had to sleep in chair for 100.00.

The staff at this property was very kind and supportive from my first call to make our reservation throughout our stay. This was a last minute trip to attend the funeral for my FIL. Not only did they make a same day reservation for us, but also provided early check in. They were also flexible with our check-out date as we were not sure how long we needed to be in the area when we first made the reservation. The reason I rated 4 rather than 5 is to make people aware this area of Freeport is questionable when it comes to safety at night.
