My husband ordered this cake for my birthday. Thank you Hyvee for the wonderful job! I loved it and was such a wonderful surprise.?

We went to Hy-Vee today for lunch on East Main Street. It is in serious need of a good manager and a deep clean. The prep area was disgusting! The hot food case was really empty and we were there at noon. There were 3 or 4 employees having lunch for over an hour and I'm sure they probably only get a half hour. We felt sorry for the 1 employee who was trying to do everything! The metal silverware was filthy. This used to be a really nice store. What has happened? This a holiday weekend...they should have been on their A game. Please, don't tell me it's because of Covid!

Horrible food and poor customer service when I attempted to report it to a manager however I will say the lady serving the food was a delight she was extremely polite and helpful

I don't have a Hy Vee store near me so I only go to them when I travel and I will take them over Walmart. I saw the Hy Vee on the way to my hotel and I new I would be back later for some stuff for the fridge which I'm not going to bore you with. Hy Vee reminds me of Meijer with the great produce as you walk in and the great deli cases as you round the store and let's not forget the nice fresh seafood case. I was able find everything I was looking for and and get out quickly because unlike Walmart they have plenty of registers open with friendly people waiting to help you.

This review is pretty much for all the locations in Galesburg and Peoria, IL. I'm not a huge fan, they are large but just average to me. I don't think they are as good as "Jewel Osco" stores in the Chicago area and SW suburbs of IL. Hyvee's bakeries are truly not special and not a very big selection. They have all their cupcakes mixed up, not always labeled correctly and I often end up with whip cream as opposed to the desired buttercream. And they have some odd baked goods that I can't imagine who is buying them. I do like that they will order me particular items in the general grocery aisles that are not regularly stocked there. VERY appreciative of that! You will certainly find most of what you want at any Hyvee, some on sale, some not. But I just wish I liked them better.

They charge 25 cents to refill a water bottle with water. I have never seen this at a gas station. It seemed very inhospitable and I wonder if corporate knows about the charges. The sign on the water faucet looked homemade.
