Second time eating here. Waitress was VERY polite friendly and professional! I can’t say enough nice things about her. Good atmosphere of restaurant, fast times for food coming out. … this is the second time I’ve eaten here and BOTH times the steak I wanted medium rare was VERY rare. Very disappointing considering it was a 30 steak. Mashed potatoes, was good ,very excellent salad. Not much into beer myself but the options are good to choose from. Second time not getting the steak right. Was on the fence about giving a second chance. Pretty sure I will rule out a 3rd.

Best fish and chips! Our server Maia has the best personality she really made us feel welcomed! An old firehouse converted into a very cool restaurant and brewery, the Iron Spike delivered perfectly on atmosphere, service, food, and craft brew. We started off with a tasty appetizer of thai shrimp. Extremely flavorful and fabulous way to start off the food adventure. Our entrees were pulled pork sandwich with homemade bbq sauce, Asian crunch burger, Peanut Butter and Bacon burger (added a side of their homemade jalapeno jam), and Jalapeño Popper burger...all with crunchy fries. Sunday they have a happy hour that offers 1/2 priced drinks, which was perfect for a flight of 5 beers to sample their offering. We did add the peanut butter porter with the peanut butter burger for a perfect pairing! If you are in the Galesburg area, I highly recommend you give this place a try!

Stumbled upon this place for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The atmosphere is very inviting, the food was amazing and our server “Matt” was fantastic, very attentive and answered all of our questions and was extremely friendly! Everything you hope for from a server!

This location was not my choice as I was meeting a friend I had not seen in years chose the location.Believe me...if not for the fine two hours spent with an old friend...my review would be worse.Limited menu and I sampled a flight of five beers. Meh.

We chose this restaurant as in the past have been thrilled…. Our trip here on new years eve~ soup came out cold as well as the $15 nachos, with hardly any meat , cheese , or toppings…. Was cold…. However my berry salad was fantastic!Our server Kristie was amazing very accommodating and wanted us to enjoy our meal ~ she was a sympathetic and professional member of this restaurant and We appreciate her service to detail and enjoyment her place of employment ~

First time visiting the Iron Spike in Galesburg and we are from out of state. Our server Shannon was great! We tried three different flat breads and loved them all. The Irish Red beer is so good! The atmosphere is very cool too. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

First time to Iron Spike and we were not disappointed! Beer was good. Food was good! Melissa our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely make the drive back!The only minor negative was we stayed to finish watching a football game and caught several wafts of pot coming from the back.
