My mother and I went to Perkins for years but it has gone downhill. Food is below quality for what they are charging. Their bakery items are still top notch but they really need upkeep on facility.

I was disappointed, the areas looked poorly cleaned and staff were in short supply. Our server was great with the kids, four between the ages of 5 and 15. She understood kids ways and was very patient with the littlest one because she wanted to place her own order. Our food was basically breakfasts and everything came out as it should. Wish restaurants would serve the children first.Parking: Galesburg, Illinois

Tea was watered down and see thru. Hashbrowns undercooked. Toast burnt. Biscuits were heated on fry pan. Burnt. Sausage not cooked in gravy, just sprinkled on. Sausage had no taste. Waitress innatentive and rude when speaking. Do not recommend . Waste of time and money.

We stopped in there late in the evening. The host made us feel we were a bother. As she's walking us to the table she asking what do you want to drink before we even sat down. Just wasn't happy with the service nor the food.

We came here for lunch with our granddaughter. She especially liked having crayons and a picture to color while we waited for our food to come.

I'm guessing we ordered the wrong food because it wasn't worth the $100 we paid. Ordered a BLT and have never had toasted sandwich bread as dry as this one, 3 pieces of floppy bacon and a dab of mayo in the middle. The two chicken fried steaks tasted like generic store bought patties with no seasoning and blah gravy. Ordered chicken strips but received a chicken strip sandwich. The melted cheese made it ok but definitely needed some sort of bbq sauce or dressing. Maybe this is more of a breakfast place...hopefully its better than what we ordered.
