They have the best - price and taste - double bacon cheeseburger in our little town and it is the most reasonably priced....and that's not considering that you get a side of fries that would feed a large family on its own. The price is so reasonable its embarrassing to the other spots in town ....and I can barely get my hand around their shot glasses which yield shots 3 times the size of their competitors.“
“Wendy and I got married out at the SMGC. They went above and beyond to make our wedding special. They re-arranged seating THREE times due to cold weather. We had 120 guests and we were snug but fit. Our wedding went smoothly due to the weather and their help. The food was AMAZING...we had beef sliders, pork sliders, chips, pasta salad, fruit, au jus, etc....EVERYONE was happy with food. I brought out the chef to be recognized in my speech to our guests.Awesome job to Amber, chef, and staff!!!I would highly recommend having ur event there...we re-connected at our 25th HS reunion, i proposed there, had wedding there....If wanna get ahold of us ur welcome to.Jim Van Acker“
“Really good pizza. Fish sandwiches are also good as well as walleye dinner. Ribs and steak can be hit or miss, anything with BbQ sauce has a disappointing mustard base. Good prices. Can get crowded on weeknights or any time ordering pizza. Surprisingly varied lunch menu. A solid choice with a decent menu for a small town tavern.“

Popper chicken sandwich is so yummy with the pretzel coated chicken,cream cheese,raspberry chipotle sauce (I skip the jalapeños) on a brioche bun (I ask to be made into a salad and they are so wonderful and accomodating) and did I mention I took home a piece of Cinnamon Roll cheesecake?“
