Came here on a Sunday night for the first time. We were delighted to see the "oysters for $1.50 all day" sign upon our approach. Yes, please! Josh gave us the drink menu run down. You will want one of each, but I tried two on this visit. The pink one is Familiar Places and the other is Confucius' Final Cocktail. Yes, the cookie gets a little soggy on one side, but it is soaked in a lovely alcohol concoction. No complaints. See photos. The menu is small plates. After the oysters, we had the fried white anchovies, grilled octopus (our test for any restaurant offering it and they passed with flying colors), croquettes - spanish style, and a small charcuterie plate. All fresh, and amazing. Loved the accompanying sauces for each dish. They will have outdoor seating for summer which is perfect. The seating indoors is intimate, but inviting and we never felt rushed. A great date night spot or a stop for a true, craft cocktail. The owner, Devin, was there and is also hands-on to take a drink order or answer questions. The kitchen staff prepares the food quickly, but it's obvious that they take care and pride in their preparation and service. We will back for sure!

You couldn't pick a better place to meet for a drink with some sophistication. Went here recently to meet someone for drinks. I was drinking mocktails, and when my partner showed up and tasted mine, we were both drinking just mocktails the rest of the night. Fantastic atmosphere, great handcrafted drinks, friendly staff. Can't ask for much more.

Im sure this place has good food and drink but fyi this is NOT a bar that can accommodate a large group gathering. Not really a standing around and socializing type environment. Make sure to have a reservation with exact numbers. Expect a sit down type restaurant. The waitress and manager got too stressed out to think of how to accommodate some additional friends who showed up. Our group closed out and went to Saint Charles where our tab was well

One of my firends introduced me to this place and it has become a quick favorite! Nick was our bartender the first day we stopped in. He was amazing! He made us surprise drinks based on what we told him we liked and he did not disappoint! He was also hilarious and fun to talk to! My trio shared the burratta. It was sooo so good! Definitely reccommend this place and definitely will be returning ASAP!

The three of us sat at the bar on a Friday night around 5pm and had cocktails and dinner. We really enjoyed the food and shared everything. I think the vibe was a quiet but lively elegance. It is small however so get there early. Many people looked uncomfortable waiting for a table or bar area to open up.

The Threads of Gold was a bit bitter. The give us Warheads not peace was pretty sugary and the mommy's cherry coke was thick and syrupy. Overall good drinks, but definbeyond craft and also a little obscure. If you like put of the regular, this is most definitely your spot.

Really nice bartenders and really good food. A nice change up in Geneva, and worth a shot. If you can't get into the other restaurants. Even if you can, still worthy of your dinner choice.

Alchemist got us hooked. Very good vibes, great food to share, awesome drinks. They do not take reservations but we got lucky to sit right away on Saturday mid afternoon. Their plates are shareable and this is definitely our best way to try at least few plates at on visit. Their wine list is quite interesting and they also cary some craft beers selections. The drinks however are amazing and we are only looking to come back again. We tried few dishes and they were Ahi Tuna Crudo--very fresh and citrusy with added pesto Grilled Oysters--Rockefeller style, absolutely delicious Fried White Anchovies--very nice idea to have them fried like fries and served with aioli , they were a subtle reminder of Spain and tapas. Grilled Salsa Macha Shrimp--this dish was super good, served with great home made sourdough. Very satisfying and perfect pairing with the wine. Will see you soon!!

Arrogant & condescending bartenders. Customers were asking for different bourbons, Makers and Buffalo Trace and both bartenders told the customers bullsh-t reasons for why they didn't carry them. After this one of the bartenders had to cut a lime and pulled out a knife bag just for a common paring knife. Can you say trying to compensate for something

Back again. It was busy on a Saturday night. But we were able to get seated at a table in less than 10 minutes. Server was friendly. I liked the music playing that night. As usual, Patrick made us some great cocktails: margarita, espresso martini, and something with whiskey (so delicious). We tried the grilled octopus, an appetizer with raw ahi tuna in cones (a bit tiny haha) and the filet mignon. We also had the deconstructed cheesecake for dessert. We always try something new on the menu when we visit.

Easily the best spot for cocktails in the suburbs. The food is amazing, and the menus change regularly. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly.

Definitely must try in the suburbs , I highly recommend the octopus which is cooked for 6 hours sous vide , then marinated for about 12 hrs I think finally grilled and top with a tomato sauce that is to die for , best octopus dish I tried in 8 different countries !Really get some drinks just tell your waiter how you feel and they will get you a drink ? .The oysters again exceptionally fresh , super good and I love the drop jars they give you to put sauce on your oysters . Must come! And dollar oysters on Sunday fyi
