This review is for cpk in Geneva commons in batavia/Geneva, il. Pathetic service, people of color don't get attened by any waiters here. Thus has happened twice to me at thus location, no more going forward.Food was great but service was horrible. We are brown, went to eat for lunch with kid and wife. People who came after us (not just on table but few tables) were attended before us and we waited for 20 minutes and still no one was interested in bringing drinks or welcoming and taking order. I would have walked out, if my son was not with us. Horrible, i had to go to front desk and ask to for a manager to speak. Told him the situation, he took order. Bread was dropped of by other waiter and pizza was dropped off by other waiter, so our table in the middle of the restaurant did not fall in any waiter's responsibility. So han no real dedicated service provider. Very pathetic service will not visit this place ever again. No one visted the table after the order was delivered. Manager seem nice when spoke to him, gave discount but the service and my experience is more valuable to me than the discount.Cpk at Geneva Common, how do you divide the tables among your waitresses, shouldn't each table belong to some waiter and regardless of who sits on that table, white/colored be attended by that xyz waiter or you allow pick and choose?

California Kitchen is a great place for the entire family!California Pizza Kitchen has great food at a good price. This is one of the few restaurants that is still operating like pre covid days. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Friendly staff and nice large restaurant. Was seated quickly and waiter arrived promptly. Options from salads, burgers, sandwiches and pizzas. Prices are on the higher side but you’re paying for the atmosphere and experience here. No complaints. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was tasty.

Love this place.Food is very good. The 5 cheese and tomato pizza was tasty. The butter cake was fantastic!The service was extremely attentive and friendly.i will definitely be back for more!

Quality of ingredients has gone off the deep end. The club pizza is a joke now. No more arugula and they don't even bother making a dressing anymore. They just put mayonnaise in a cup. Forget about their appetizers too. Used to have quality chips with blue corn chips and those are gone too. The prices were fair when you could tell the ingredients were high quality. Now it's just another chain rip off. Overpriced mediocre food.

Went to pay our bill for a party of 5, which was $86. CPK is offering the promotion to receive a $20 gift card for future use if you purchase a $100 gift card. We asked our server to purchase a gift card. She brought the gift card AND our check back, so the total was now $186. We explained for a second time we wanted to purchase the gift card separately and then use it to buy the meal. The server didn't know what to do. The managers all looked confused. Finally, a manager came out and said we can't use a gift card the same day it is purchased. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY THIS. And it simply isn't true. If we had just purchased the gift card at the front when we walked in, we could have used it. They tried to say it is to prevent fraud when in actuality, they just didn't know how to remedy the situation. We ended up just cancelling the gift card and paying the bill. Disappointed in the customer service tonight.

Another great night at California Pizza Kitchen!!! Mauricio was our server for the evening, and let me just say even if he wasn’t your server you know he works hard. He was always smiling and cracking jokes making everyone feel welcomed. He was quick on his feet with food and service! Anything you asked for he got it, no problem! We loved the food and atmosphere!! Mauricio was incredible. Thank you for serving us!!

me and friends went for a little bit and i had forgotten my wallet and wasn’t able to tip however, did not seem a big deal to me considering the service was not good. i understand that you are supposed to tip but as i was walking out the server bombarded me about leaving a tip and asked what i was leaving. first of all you don’t ask a customer how much they wanna tip and watch them as they leave it and this man did that. I then told him i was not doing that and he told me “ why do you go out to eat if you can’t tip” The manager proceeded to tell me tips are required by law in the U.S. which is either stupidity or a blatant lie. anyways my whole group will not be revisiting and i will be calling the head of the company to leave a complaint. Horrible impression and atmosphere that they have created.

Giving it 2 stars because the pizza was good. It's a little pricey but not criminal. The waitress never came back to our table to offer refills. We had to flag her down to get the one refill we got towards the end of the meal. We ordered a kids meal pizza and didn't get the chocolate milk that came with it. I wouldn't come back to this CPK again because of the service but will give the oakbrook location a try.

we had tremendously good service today from our server Diego. He was attentive, great personality and always checked on us throughout the meal. Food was consistent, served hot and delicious. Hats off to HR for hiring this young man.
