I have eaten here several times and it is always great but tonight they were down staff and the food was awful. If they do not have enough people to run the restaurant or someone to make the food per the original recipes, they should close for the night instead of festering their reputation! Here are pictures of roast beef pieces I had in my spaghetti bolognese! I have never seen that and. I cook a lot and I know they are not suppose to be there.

We enjoyed this old-timey Italian Restaurante, with Deano, Sinatra and Tony Bennett playing softly in the background. Bread sticks and garlic dip was a nice start. The cheesy Mushroom appetizer was excellent. We had the Eggplant Parmesan, which my wife said was "good", while I had the Cajun Tortellini which was very, very good. Our server was exceptional...she knew just when to stop by and when not to. When they tell you the plates are "HOT", believe them. We'll be coming back.

It was my daughters 18th birthday we decided to dine here , first time , table of 10..made reservations. ....Loved the ravioli and the bread sticks on the table with the garlic dressing was probably fav part of the experience, I was not happy at all with the Italian sausage way over price for the size. I always make it a point to try the sausage at all restaurants that offer them in my quest to find the best tasting, and value...My son got the 4 pepper pasta , was unpleasantly surprised by how spicy it was , the heat took over all the flavor and was ruined , it should accent the pasta not over power it.My wife got the lasagna, she stated it very good ....As shown many other dishes that were ordered...I'll go back for sure to try again .

Dinner for 2 This was my go resturant for a long time, this was my first trip back in probably 10 years. I loved this place and hope they can bring their game back up Pros We were seated right away Everything was clean Friendly attentive service Love the rolls Caesar Salad was OK House wine carafe was fine CONs Fettucini was soggy, over cooked like it was already cooked and dropped into water to heat it up. The seafood sauce and sausage were good quality components in a way too thick sauce. Could have been good in either Marinara or oil and herbs Salad portions were tiny We didn't have desert OFFER ONLY WHAT YOU CAN SERVE SUCCESSFULLY My impression is that the kitchen can't produce what they have on the menu They should dial the menu back to what they can prepare successfully, and serve that. Make 2 pots soup, Minestrone and Lentile, and when they are gone, they are gone. Offer in cup or bowls meal size with rolls for vegetarians or soup lovers. Simplify and have specials in limited quantities aka lasagna, egg plant parm etc but when it runs out it's over 86, same for all items. Have an 86 Board in the dining area Have 1 kind of fish aka salmon and offer it broiled, blackened or plain in a salad or on fettuccine with olive oil and herbs. Let the waiters fill the soup bowls, salad bowls, and bread baskets and get it on the tables fast. Make it simple, fast and delicious..... My two cents

VERY disappointed with Chianti's, who we've ordered from several times in the past. I sent them an email directly, however after 5 days and no response, I am posting this to Yelp. My Husband and I decided to order through GrubHub as we both love the menu! I placed the order online at 5:51 pm and received a response that our order was being "prepared" and would be delivered between 6:36 and 6:46 pm. Time went on. I was following the progress on the tracking app, and saw that a driver was "on his way" to the restaurant. More time went on and suddenly that driver disappeared and another driver was "on his way" to the restaurant. By now, it's almost 7pm and I received a message that our order was delayed and should be delivered between 7:30 and 7:40. I saw the second driver arrive at the Restaurant, leave the Restaurant and head to the Eaglebrook subdivision, before making his way back to Chicanti's to actually pick up our order. It was finally delivered at 7:44 pm. Concern #2 - According to their website, the Chicken Parm is served over pasta and is offered with a soup or a salad as well as one additional side (house pasta being one of them!) Kind of a convoluted description. My Husband decided to add spinach as his side, and received the Chicken Parm with no pasta! Very disappointing, indeed. In addition, I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and wound up sharing the pasta with my Husband. At approximately 10 pm, I became very ill with stomach cramps and diarrhea and am certain that there was something wrong with the chicken in my pasta as my Husband was fine and did not eat any of the chicken. Pretty disappointing Mother's Day meal when we were really looking forward to this treat. Unfortunately, we'll be thinking twice before ordering from them again.

At the first glance the menu has enough choices. Good was that the menu had two portions, lunch and dinner, for all pasta items. My comments are limited to the items we tried. We had two pasta dishes. Both had no taste. The linguini and clams had basically water instead of a sauce. Not olive oil or typical clam sauce with garlic. The other dish was the linguini with Cajun sauce, which is not really Italian but an interesting attempt. That too had no taste. It was pasta in water with some Cajun spices sprinkled on it. Based on this experience, I would never go back. There are much better choices on the same street or couple of blocks down.
Food ok but server bad. He was slow. Did not pay attention to us but when the bill came he was right there. Not happy with visit. Disappointed

I always enjoy this place. Good food and nice environment. We sat by the fireplace and it was nice and toasty on a cold night. The best deal are the $8 martinis. Lots to choose from. I had a basic martini. It came poured at the table. Usually they put a little extra and leave the shaker but this time they did not. Also no olives. I would have appreciated a few small olives. The salad was very nice and well portioned. The bread sticks and garlic sauce is as always the wow. Hot rolls came with dinner and the food was amazing. I asked for the 4 pepper pasta with linguine noodles rather then the spaghetti noodles. The server said sure but it came with the spaghetti noodles. I did not say anything as it was fine. I was a little disappointed. So I guess the old adage of only 1 out of 10 people will actually Say anything may be true. We checked in on face book and you get $5 off Overall. A very nice dinner. Highly recommend Chianti's it's our go to place for a wonderful experience.

If I could give this place a 0, I honestly would. Terrible service, place is probably under horrible management. Broccoli and mashed potatoes were uncooked. Over all food was not worth the wait. This Dinner was a complete waste and disaster. Will never set foot here again.

We were a larger group of eight; I think most of us enjoyed our entrees. It was busy at the Restaurant, so we occasionally had to wait a bit longer than usual. Overall, a cool place to enjoy delicious Italian food. We all had a great time. Prices were reasonable.

We ordered from the catering menu for a party.The food was fantastic and they even opened before hours to have our order ready on time for our event.Staff was wonderful and spot on with service & timing.Would definitely recommend and use them again.
