Last minute order (two days) didn't fluster Dave. Five pounds of pulled pork goes a long way. He provides about 30 slider rolls. We added a pack of Hawaiian sliders - and STILL have leftovers! Great Mac n cheese. Good slaw (more dressing, please) Pickup point isn't much to write about, but friendly? Clean? All good. Thanks, Dave, grammaleen loved it!

We tried Dave's slow food for the first time and are absolutely in love! (We did the "Take Away Heat & Eat). We had family in from five different states and each family raved about the food. Dave was very responsive, and made a somewhat stressful hosting situation very easy on us! Thanks Dave!

Dave is absolutely wonderful to work with, and the food is absolutely delicious. He just catered a party for me and I am still hearing from the guests about how much they loved the food! Just ate Dave's Slow Food Truck at a wedding and it gets an A+. I joked about writing reviews and ended up really wanting to write one for the business. Really great food! I had a pulled pork sandwich and mac & cheese. The pulled pork was tender and smoky. However, I'm a mac & cheese girl and they have a winner! I also got the recommendation to dip the mac with Dave's mustard and it was a great choice. My husband had the burnt ends, mac, and potato salad and really enjoyed it Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff with great recommendations. Fun and unique addition to an outdoor wedding!

Kid and parent approved! We tried all three sandwiches tonight: pulled pork, pulled chicken, and Spanish chicken. Crazy good. Tender, plentiful, smoky, with tangy barbeque sauce on top and a soft white bread bun to hold it all together. The Spanish chicken had a kick to it! The kids loved the mac and cheese and baked beans. I asked for a recommendation for a side and got coleslaw mixed with potato salad, a.k.a. "slo-po," and I had no idea how much I would dig it. We've seen them parked at Global Brew a few times - which is the perfect combination - beer and bbq. It's $12 for a sandwich and two sides, not bad. Plus the guys in the truck were friendly and we got the food fast. Who doesn't love a food truck, am I right?

Best BBQ in northern Illinois with almost no competition. Jerk chicken, ridiculous sauces, inventive sides and all soooo smokey. Find them at Cada Pools, FFA lot near Costco, or Trellis off Kirk. Get what they have on hand or order special ribs, brisket and everything inbetween for your party/event. Great people, better food.

Did you ever have BBQ ribs that were so good you wanted to eat the bones? That pretty much covers Dave's Slow Cooked Food. Dave has a trailer he sells his food from which parks in front of Cada Pools and Spa at 2701 west main in Saint Charles, Illinois. Dave only makes a limited amount of full slab ribs, chicken, burnt ends and pulled pork. Its best to call ahead and see what he has available or order ahead and it will be ready when you get there. He also has cole slaw, baked beans and smashed potatoes. The ribs are great, the sides are okay. This is strictly a carry out place. So plan on taking them home. These are the best ribs I've had in a long time! Call Dave at 630-995-5583.
