Unfortunately, they appear to be permanently closed. The lights were off during normal business hours, stuff from the kitchen stacked on tables in the dining area, and a for lease sign on the corner of the building. Unfortunately, they also didn't do anything to notify their customers: no signs on the doors, didn't update their website, didn't update hours on Google or any other sites like Yelp, and didn't leave a message on their phone line. I called ahead and the phone line was out of service, but dozens of times in the past their number has either been out of service, rings forever and nobody picks up, or is constantly busy and they would just say, "Yeah, we're not taking phone orders," or, "Yeah, there's a problem with our phones," when I'd arrive. I checked all the sites first and then drive there to be greeted by a closed store. It's a bummer that they're out of business, as it was my daughter's favorite pizza.

Place was dirty. Went to order and the guy sighed and looked bothered. I asked if there was a problem and he said there were 2 others who should be working with him. Then the 2 other workers came and there was clearly tension between the 3 people. The one guy kept wiping his nose on his shirt and it grossed me out. He seemed like he was high so we left.

The pizza here is good not great. I sometimes would like the crust cooked a bit longer but for a "fast food" pizza place it satisfies in a pinch.

The pizzas here are really good, and I love how you get to build your own pizza from different sauces, cheese, and toppings. Every other aspect about this place sucks though. Half their tables are falling apart (probably from how many kids are always inside) and the staff are incredibly obvious about how much they hate their life. I get retail & fast food aren't the best jobs, but they don't even try to pretend like they're happy or even baseline pleasant. They are always short staffed too, 1 person on a Saturday? I guess that explains why he hates his life. They also used to go down along the line with you as they built your pizza. Now you're expected to know all the toppings available at the front and if you can't remember what they have you just have to guess. It's a great concept, but they really need to hire more staff and ones that actually want to be there.

Nice place to stop for a quick lunch when walking around third street. Many other places are sit down and slow so going here is probably the quickest option. The pizzas are pretty good

We love this! Place! It has delicious pizza, wonderful people working there and so much fun to be able to eat inside or outside

Hate to do it but I have to agree with a lot of recent reviews. Half the lights are off. Place is looking run down. Staff moving at an absolute snails pace. Waiting for a while and we’re the only order pending. Used to be great here! Maybe they sold to a new owner and it’s all about cutting costs now. Not sure. But It’s a bummer. Really liked this place.

Pretty good pizza for a nice price. They make togo orders fast and give a nice amount if toppings on specialty pizzas.

The pizza is great. My family loves it. To bad they are to cheap to to fix the tables. Half or more of the tables are broken. I sat at one table and the dang thing started leaning over when my wife put her hand bag on it. The only tables that work are by the window and if its sunny you wont be able to see. Pizza is good though.

Let me start by saying we have loved going here as a family since it opened. With that being said the last handful of times has been disappointing and a worse experience every time. This time we walked in and half the lights are shut off or dimmed so low it’s hard to imagine it’s safe for their workers to be working in. Half the tables are broken and missing chairs, and the cold prep line where all their ingredients are is filthy as well as the trash cans overflowing. The staff used to be really nice and pleasant and now they don’t even greet you when you walk in. Truly makes it feel like you are bothering them by placing an order.

I was so impressed with Doughocracy. Nothing fancy by any means, but this is the best non-chain pizza I have had in the Fox Valley so far. The build-your-own pizza option is the way to go because you can have unlimited toppings. The crust is perfection, and the portion of each personal pizza is generous. I am excited to come back and support local! PROS: -Delicious! -Local. Heart of downtown Geneva on 3rd street. -Quick service. -Indoor and outdoor seating. -Good portion for the price. CONS: -Small menu. They should add appetizers - bread sticks, calamari, etc. -Could have been cleaner inside.

We’ve been going to this place for over 5 yrs. My kids love their pizza, but tonight will be our last. We arrived at 7:38pm, tried to order a simple cheese pizza for our kids but was told they were no longer taking orders. Two white gentlemen walked in after me, close to 7:50PM and their orders were taken. My kids asked why we couldn’t order. By the way the worker talked to me and his body language I was clearly discriminated against. There were several people still eating both inside and outside. It’s not like they were closing right then. Their hours were till 8:00PM. Many businesses would have been happy to take my order. I guess I’ll have to take my kids to MOD or Bricks. It’s too bad, this place is one of the only places my kids would eat at on 3rd. We won’t be frequenting the area too much now. Such a shame.

The pizza was good but it looked like it was falling apart. Multiple tables were broken, tons of missing chairs, the drink machine was sitting on a piece of exposed plywood and it was quite dirty. if a restaurant could be depressed, this is what it would look like.

I came in at 7:38pm, they close at 8pm tonight. I tried ordering a simple cheese pizza for my kids but the worker declined to take my order , but proceeded to take 2 white gentlemen’s orders right after me. The way I was talked to and the worker’s body language, I knew I was being discriminated against. This place has good pizza, but service has clearly declined as of late. There’s a big Hiring sign up front, I wouldn’t recommend even working here if management will condone discrimination against minority women. I’ll take my business to MOD or Bricks Pizza instead. Such a shame.

I came in 20 min before they closed and they said they were done for the day, fine, I was meeting a group of friends who were already eating there, so I grabbed food at Atlas Chicken Shack, came back and found out they accepted orders from two other people after me, so my wife attempted to place an order just after the two people and they refused to take her order saying they close in 10 min. She asked why they accepted the two other peoples' orders and they refused to answer. I hope it wasn't due to the fact that I am Asian, but it sure seemed like it. Let's just say the two other people who got their orders were not of color. I've been here numerous times and have told friends to come here, especially with kids since they love the pizza, disappointed to say the least. Will never come back.
