This place was wonderful, nice place to enjoy a game on tv or hang out with friends. The service was excellent and they were quick to get suggestions for those of us out of town. Nestled right in downtown Geneva, near many historic structures this place an excellent addition to the community. Good beer selection, even some traditional Monk inspired beers, food is good, all the burgers our group ordered a pretzel bun which was a nice touch. Will come back next time we are in town. Stay hunger folks!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I was only there once over the weekend. For a busy weekend outside his place was not busy at all. The menu seemed decent but I still had my doubts. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms and raw onion And french fries. My wife had the Caesar salad. I have to say it with all the doubts that I have had while waiting for my food. I was totally impressed when my food came out. The chicken sandwich was huge cooked to perfection and tasted very good. My wife's Caesar salad was very good. Also she said. This place also has very good french fries. However, like every place else these days it was pretty pricey for a chicken sandwich and a salad. $33 I don't know if I will go back, but the food was tasty.

I really like this place! The service is always nice, the burgers are good, the steak sandwich is amazing, and I enjoyed our beer flight. Only gripe is that catfish is not catfish. I grew up in the south, raised on catfish and I'm 99% sure it was swai.

Great food, happy hour specials, and extensive rotating beer selections make it a favorite spot for dining. Especially love the Brie grilled cheese with green apple and apricot jelly!!

My wife and I have talked about stopping in to get a burger for quite a while, but hadn't made it in. Tonight we wanted a burger and decided we'd finally try the Ale House. We are very glad we did.We built our own burgers, though they have other choices. The burgers were cooked to the correct temperature, juicy, and well seasoned. The lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions were all fresh and delicious. We will be back to try other offerings on the menu. There are so many other places to enjoy eating out in our area, and we are glad to have found a go-to burger place right here in Geneva!

Good food and tap beer selection, reasonable prices, with great service on a Sunday afternoon. We've dined here several times and have always been pleased with our experience.

We started our night with the Potato Kegs and Soft Pretzel bites as our appetizers. Kegs were flat out amazing, pretzel bites were like biting into little buttery, salty pillows of delight. Both were 10/10. My Campfire burger wasn't too bad; had way too much bbq sauce but was still enjoyable. Chili was bomb, with spice strong enough to punch you in the throat and scald your eyebrows clean off.

I can't speak highly enough about this place. I have been twice in the last week or so. The first time we arrive right after two giant parties so we were told food is taking way longer than usual. We stayed and were still given attentive service. The wait time was a non issue. The second we went, we also had our toddler with us. She was in a mood. We were that family. The server took it all in stride and even made a kiddy flight of milk and lemonade because our daughter was DISTRAUGHT over my husband having a beer flight. I only hope we weren't too disruptive to those around us. We did take her outside for a bit and she came back for her "flight" and Mac n cheese. We are new in town and look forward to many more meals shared.

We stopped in one evening during the week, for my son’s bday. There were like 2 other tables there. We should have known something was up when a table got up and left right as we were coming in, grumbling. Our server brought our drinks and took our order…and that was it for over an hour. Not once did she stop in on us to see if we needed drinks let alone tell us what the hold up was. Another table got up and left, having never gotten their food. I finally flagged down another server and asked her what was going on. She explained to me that they got hit with a lot of to go orders but she would check on our food and let our server know. Our server came out and let us know our food would be out soon, we told her just to box it up cause it was late. An hour and a half later we finally walked out with our food in boxes, not getting a single apology or offering to comp anything…just with the explanation that the to go orders were more important than us. The food was not great by the time we got it home, not sure if that’s cause we just took it to go or not. Never ever going back.

My husband and I were pretty disappointed with this restaurant. We were not impressed with the menu, and the food we ordered was just okay.I had the bruschetta and French onion soup. I thought there was too much balsamic dressing in the topping mixture. It was drowning out the fresh mozzarella and tomato. I also thought that the French onion soup had too many onions and bread and not enough broth. My husband had the Cubano sandwich with fries. He thought it was good, but wouldn't order again. We LOVE to support local restaurants, but most likely won't be back here unless it's only to try their drinks.

Great beer selection and fun atmosphere! Had the Rueben and it was outstanding! The BLT also gets high recommendations and I believe is the best seller. Stop in for a treat! Enjoy!

My family and I have been here several times and the place doesn't disappoint. Great burgers in a pub setting that have been cooked perfectly every time. Great fries, too. The only complaint is that it can get a little drafty in the wintertime because the door opens right onto the sidewalk so get a table towards the back if you can. Overall, great experiences.

It has been some tome since I ate at Geneva Ale House but I remember the food being better. My wife had the Reuben and it was tough. It also was not grilled. My burger was okay, if a little overdone. Large selection of beers and plenty of tvs.

The food here was awesome! Wide variety of items including salad burgers and tons of sandwich options! Service was fast and if you love craft beers there were so many to choose from! Would go back for sure.
