Came here with friends. Ambiance was really lovely and warm set in a gorgeous old building. Good selection of drinks, service was professional and pleasant. The food was on the better side of average. Perhaps i ordered poorly. My Arctic Char was overcooked. Spatzle was drowning in sauce. My husbands slow-cooked ribs were good, the fennel in the lamb was slightly overpowering. The octopus starter was slightly overcooked. The shrimp bao was a winner. Desserts were delicious. The plating for everything was attractive. Would I return? Unlikely, given that we travelled for this.

My meetup group of 10 people came here on 02/27/24 and there would have been 16 of us had it not been for the severe storm prediction. Indeed, tornados did touch down and damage in the area. The bright flashes of lightning visable from the beautiful dimly lit interior made this an unforgetable night. The woodwork is georgeous in this venue. There were pillows all along a bench area where we were seated. The service was excellent and my meal of pan fried artic char was the best seafood dish I ever had. It cost $40.00 and came with no side nor bread. So be forewarned ... this is a pricy place. I enjoyed a delicious bowl of French Onion soup ($14) and house wine was $10/glass. Chardonney was $14/glass for the cheaper one. Splurged for desert and had spiced apple clafoutis served warm. One of our members was surprised with a $6.00 enormous heaping mound of cotton candy for her dessert! We talked, laughed and separate checks were honored. I even sang during our dinner REO Speedwagon's song Ridin the storm out as the lightening flashed continuously and tornado sirens went off. (Yeah it touched down nearby). An unforgettable evening and we all stayed safe, happy and well

This was the best restaurant we visited on my trip to Illinois. The food was amazing. The staff are all friendly and attentive. We loved the endless cotton candy. Not only is this unique but makes the restaurant family friendly and something that everyone can enjoy.

Amazing food and drinks! Actually you can sit and have conversation because it is not as loud as other places. Definitely recommend Niche. Topnotch

Steaks are excellent, great cocktails and whiskey selection. Very loud inside. Not a family dining place. Crowd is usually couples or party gatherings

Loved the venue for our 50th anniversary. Delicious food, good drinks. Beef could’ve been more tender for the price.
Food is thoughtfully chosen to represent a fresh taste and wide range appeal. Atmosphere is like coming home. Service is outstanding.Vegetarian options: Tasty!Parking: Right out front
Phenomenal whiskey and wine lists! How often do you find both in one restaurant? Everything we tasted was delicious.

One of our favorite places! Service is excellent. The largest bourbon, scotch selection around.Kid-friendliness: Great for special occasions with family!
Check out my restaurant review reels on IG @ashleytou. This particular one is coming soon! Delicious and filling meal, gorgeous decor, wonderful (attentive) staff, AND unlimited cotton candy I had an absolute blast at Niche and I cannot wait to come back when I visit the Tri-Cities again.
