I've only been to Potbelly's once before and never at this location. Thought I'd give it a try because it sounded good and I had time to kill. I went in and stood in the queue while looking at the menu for a while, and then moved and stood by the Order Here sign. Wasn't sure if I was at the right area? There were people working behind the counter, but they looked busy with equipment and stuff, I didn't know if they were helping other people. I waited patiently for a couple of minutes before getting noticed by the male employee. He went in the back for a minute and then took my order, but needed to confirm every part of my order about 3 times. Forgot what kind of sandwich I ordered (avo turkey), if I wanted the avocado and cucumber on the sandwich (I ordered specifically for the avocado and cucumber!!)? During this time, the overly friendly manager noticed me, popped over, and rung me up. I stood and waited for my sandwich for a bit longer. I mentioned to the manager that I was killing time and was eating in the restaurant, but I was never offered a tray, cup of water, anything. The vibes here were very strange. Won't be back.

Ordered ahead online for lunch earlier today. I ordered the skinny avo turkey sandwich. Left the place with my food, and got halfway through the sandwich before I realized that they had given me browning avocado - which irritates me to no end. I threw away the rest of the sandwich and nearly threw up because I was so disgusted. I'm willing to give the place a second chance, but I will not go back If this happens again.

My family and I typically enjoy PB at least twice a week and really walk away satisfied. On this latest visit we were not so lucky. We arrived for dinner there was only one employee behind the counter. He took my brothers order first and sent through followed by my order and then my moms. He then took the order of 3 additional guest behind us all the meanwhile are sandwich's were greeting cold. He then made our orders but didn't make the salads we ordered. At this time 2 more employees came out from the back as there was a line of customers now. Once we tried to pay my bother ask to use his bday treat on PB app. This included any item up to $5. The cashier said this could only be used on a cookie and not any item up to $5 value. We found this odd and confusing. We had to stand and wait for our 3 salads which have yet to be made while others behind us were served. Long story short our sandwich's were awful, cold and bArely edible. The salads finally arrived with no apology and we left. This experience was not worth the $35+ dollars we spent. We still support the brand but will not be visting this particular location again due to poor customer service and lack of proper management. Prior to posting this review I reached out to PB but never heard back.

Ordered delivery and mine and my husband’s sandwich was missing half all of our sauces. Made our sandwiches pretty dry.

Messed up takeout order again. Two of the sandwiched wrong and vanilla instead of chocolate shake. Ugh.

Lunchtime- they can not provide four bowls of chili. The manager argues with me that next time I should call in Advance, this is after I attempted to order online and their website kept spinning. When I asked if they prepared backup batches she argued that they were not going to make more and essentially waist it if no customers ordered. This is a restaurant! A place of food service! Completely unprepared for their busy lunch traffic and they charge extra for chili toppings! I received skimpy onions! Save yourself from rude back talking customer service (manager) and find another establishment that is well prepared for lunch (it's fall in Illinois people)!

Employees had a minor mistake with my sandwich, and they responded quickly with a solution of creating a new sandwich. They went above and beyond just to correct mistake on my sandwich and it is very much appreciated. I wish to potbellies everywhere like this. They are so nice!

I love potbelly's. SO YUM. Used to be a hater but times change. This specific location always perfectly toasts my sandwiches and I haven't gotten a spicy side of the sandwich due to cutting previous sandwiches at this location. Cookies are ALWAYS delicious. I could gobble ten.

Yesterday I had the Avo turkey skinny on multi grain bread. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a skinny sandwich from potbellies, and it was much shorter than I remember. The top bread was crumbling apart, and it tasted like the sandwich was a day old or maybe even longer. I am very disappointed with the sandwich and the price.

Severely overpriced! I haven’t been to a potbelly’s in forever and I will NEVER be going to one again. For the combo with a skinny size wreck it was $10.35 and not worth it. The sandwich sucked and felt cheap and was cold. It is not the fault of the Geneva Commons location the Potbelly’s chain has gone downhill big time. Unless I’m given a free sandwich I will never be wasting money at a potbelly’s again. Jersey mikes all the way!

This is some of the worst service I have ever received. Called multiple times with no answer. When they finally answered, They told me they were too busy to process my over the phone order because they had a line of 3 customers in store. 3 customers doesn't warrant a total denial of ones order. Jordan was continuously signing and groaning as if what I was asking was to much of a hassle.
