Ordered here on Monday, the tacos were okay La Rosita on north ave has better tacos and they're full of meat!!! The tacos here barely had meat and when I placed the order through the phone I told them NO TOMATOES. Got my order 20mins later and my family starts to eat...all the tacos and torta had tomatoes... Disappointed...I'd stick to my taco spot at la rosita

First visit the enchiladas verdes with chicken were outstanding. Hoped for another great experience, and it hasn't happened. Chili rellenos have tough outer skin left on, taco salad was a clump of mush, quessadilla was small, lacked flavor, tamale was so dry that masa crumbled. Different day each time. Tacos are probably the best thing on the menu. Counter staff on weekends appear to have no knowledge about menu items.

My favorite tacos in the suburbs. The chicken is crispy on the outside but tender and juicy in the middle. The tortillas taste homemade because they’re really soft and fresh. You can get the tacos traditional with cilantro and onions or American style with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Definitely give Javi’s a try.

Not impressed. Wanted to get 3 tacos rice and beans, asked if they could do different kinds of tacos but they said no - which is totally fine. Got the al pastor. But there was lettuce and tomatoes in my tacos.. I wasn't asked whether I would like that or onions and cilantro, so I assumed it would be the latter.. that sucks. the al pastor tacos themselves were underwhelming, even setting aside the lettuce and tomatoes..Palettas were great, but plenty of other places for that. Was hoping to find a great taco spot since I moved here recently.. but it seems like they are not really focusing on authenticity, or even giving an option for it.. the search continues unfortunately.Price was good for the area though, just disappointing food.
