We were just looking for a quick “tavern-style” place to stop for dinner. Overall it exceeded expectations. Service was very good. For me, sitting in the bar area is preferable as it has more activity and character. Food was good!
The dining area has a large window to the patio area to view. There is enough space between tables to enjoy a private conversation. Our server was very attentive. Menu items are very reasonably price.

Went for a restaurant menu. Turns out, one of the entrees and two of the desserts were not available. When questioned about some replacements, the server said she couldn't do it because of the “price differences”. She actually began to argue with us, as if the price difference would come out of her paycheck. We felt it was deceptive, because we weren't informed when first arrived. We asked to speak to the manager who helped the situation. The server never came back. The manager brought the bill, and took the payment. We could overhear the server squabbling with another employee.

We had 20 women who work together during the holidays at Von Maur as gift wrappers. We had a wonderful time and plan on getting together on the patio in August. Thank you, Kathleen Heizmann

The service leaves a lot to be desired. Only place I know where you make a reservation and it gets cancelled without your knowledge. I do not recommend going with a group or you might just get there and not be able to be seated!! Find a better place!

My husband and I had dinner at Reserve 22 Restaurant in Glen Ellyn on Wed., 2/21. I ordered the short ribs. They looked dry and overcooked when they arrived at our table. I brought this to the waitress' attention. She offered to bring gravy and to inform the chef. The gravy did not improve the cardboard-like slices of short ribs; I did not eat them. I do not recommend the short ribs, and the chef should have sent me a new serving. Hopefully, he was made aware of my disappointment.

Always good food and service. My husband and I prefer sitting in the bar, either at a high top or at the bar itself. It's a bit more cozy of an atmosphere as opposed to the main restaurant seating. Reserve 22 is a little hidden gem.

I hosted a baby shower here for my daughter in law on 1.20.24. They did a fantastic job! Food and service was great and the room was perfect!I highly recommend. Thank you Angela and servers/staff !

Christmas Popup was beautiful. Any time we've been to Reserve 22 the service was great. The food this time was excellent!Only once, out of 20 or so meals, was the food not great. The steak quesaadilla was fatty. Anything else was great.We will keep coming back, especially in the Summer.

Reserve 22 was a great place to have our New Year's Eve dinner. It was beautifully decorated for the holiday, the food was very good and the staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our evening.

Very disappointed. We were sat at 7:00 right on time for our reservation. Wait staff did not come by to say hi, ask if we had questions or even give us water for 20 min after I had to ask someone at 7:15 where our server was. Our waiter was friendly enough but seemed to be the bartender and didn't quite grasp clearing plates from the table as they were emptied. The food was mediocre at best. Ive had that exact dish prepared much better in many other places. Was tasteless and drowned in oil. This restaurant has good reviews so we were excited to eat here but were left underwhelmed. Wish I had something better to say about it.

There were a few big NYE parties seated just ahead of us, so it took a little while to put in our drink and food orders. However, the server was very apologetic and did a great job once she got caught up. We both had one of the chef's specials - the London broil. The steak was fantastic, as was the glaze and the vegetables. The portion was also better - a little less than the 8-ounce sirloin on the menu - which meant we had enough room for dessert, another nightly special, the salted caramel gelato sundae. The dining room was also nicely decorated for the holidays. An excellent meal for a NYE on the town!

The ambience was great the view Like a winter wonderland and the Christmas decor was Gorgeous however the food left a lot to be desired. We had lettuce wraps with wilted lettuce and cold fillings. Not good.
