I've been ordering from Generoso for two decades now. I knew the previous owner, Rich, who moved to New York. The current owner has not only maintained the same quality, but I can honestly say the pizza has gotten better over time.I've had pizza all across Chicagoland for the past thirty years, and this place is a true hidden gem. Very good slice. Sauce was good, not sweet. One of the things I like is sauce that isn't loaded with sugar. Toppings were heavy, but not overwhelming. A good balance of flavors. The crust was thick enough to support the plentiful toppings. The crust was chewy. A little crispness or char would have made it close to perfect, but still a very good slice. The server/counter person was very cool, friendly and helpful.

This is our family favorite pizza place, prices are great, service is outstanding and food is AWESOME, please don't waste your time somewhere else, if you are a pizza/Italian food lover, Generoso is a MUST, thank you Generoso for your great service and AWESOME food :)
