It was a nice change of venues that we typically go to on Mother's Day. Bay was awesome and the entertainment by musical Mike. definitely a destination point other than for the usual Oktoberfest. Beer just happens to taste much better when you're at schnitzel plots.
The food was amazing. We hadn't been here for a number of years because we had moved. There was a large party that arrived unannounced. The two servers handled it well without missing a beat. The food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious! We took dessert home ( Black Forrest) and what a welcome surprise. Light and not overly sweet, it was a perfect end to a wonderful meal! Thank you for creating a perfect memory.

This is a long-standing gem in the western suburbs. Visited on a lively Saturday night and the food was spectacular, our server was incredible and the ambiance at the Schnitzel Platz is always awesome. I love taking the family and friends here for a unique and fun experience. I highly recommend -- family friendly, great drinks and wonderful people running the restaurant overall.

It was an unusually busy Sat. evening and even with a reservation we had to wait 20 minutes past reservation time to be seated. The staff was obviously overworked. Our salad plate and soup did not arrive before our entrees. They were out of the beer we ordered. But we like the German food and atmosphere so will probably return.

Pork schnitzel and a man with two trumpets. We went for dinner and we were entertained with a man playing two trumpets at the same time and german music. Food was great. You can order the beer by the liter. Enjoy!

The Prince Leopold platter for two is excellent. There is a lot of variety (see their website for details) and everything tastes great. The German chocolate cake is also excellent. They have a lively atmosphere with music (an accordion player). We'll definitely go there again in the future.

Schnitzelplatz is a very authentic German restaurant. The food is top notch and very well prepared. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from this type establishment. This time we went for lunch and the place was not crowded. However, it is highly recommended that you make reservations, especially for dinner and for special events, such as Oktoberfest.
