the owner jun is so nice, helpful, and funny! it's a great bar to socialize as well as eat and drink. i would come here every day if i could!i got the bulgogi burger and it was delicious- just a heads up if you do get it, it's not a typical 'burger' patty, it's literally bulgogi- but it's so flavorful and unique it's such a good item to try! the fried egg was so good on it...another good item is the bulgogi tacos they come with kimchi on them (so good)also the drinks are strong! i suggest getting the green apple soju (yum)TLDR; come to BDG, not just to drink and socialize, but also to try the delicious food!Vegetarian options: burger made with portabello mushrooms, veggie soup, etc

Bartender was rather obviously flustered and overworked and got kind of snippy with our large group about needing more water and eventually just refused Even though we were still spending money and drinking... There also seemed to be some discrepancies on the bills that people were paying. But we were so drunk. We didn't really wanna follow up on that part in case it was just a misunderstanding.

I could tell they were short staffed when the waiter commented about their four burner stove. Despite the wait, I thought that the food was phenomenal. Note that my group of friends probably picked the best foods on the menu given the amount of times they've been to the restaurant. Personally, my favorite dishes were the Ya Chae Soo Jae Bi (soup), Crispy Maek Juk and Seafood Jun. The soup was very flavorful and was filled with fresh, quality ingredients. The Crispy Maek Juk was crispy on the outside and had the right amount of chew. I was also very impressed by the Seafood Jun in that they used size-able chucks of octopus. One slight recommendation is to turn up the lighting in the dining area. Otherwise, I would definitely return to try other things on the menu.

The bartender/owner (Jun) is a great host. Whether you’re there just to chill or to hangout with friends, you will be well accommodated. Plus they got red horse in stock.

I don't usually write reviews but the owner went above and beyond serving everyone.. he is bartending, cashier, and he's even the chef. This was some of the best Korean barbecue food I've had in a long time and it is worth driving from Wisconsin. Amazing atmosphere and an amazing owner!

I got the tteotbokki and kimchi jjigae. This was my first time having Korean food and it was soo delicious and flavorful. I asked it to be made spicier and they were really nice about adding more chili jam. I’ll definitely eat here again.
