Blufish is a hit in our house, the go-to for sushi. What stands out? The fish-to-rice ratio—it’s just perfect, ensuring every bite is packed with fresh, delicious fish. We’re big fans of their nigiri and usually pick a roll or two to complete the meal. A must-try is the house salad with extra ginger sauce, big enough to share and a real standout. For two people, ordering nigiri, a roll, and the salad, the cost comes around thirty-five dollars per person, without drinks. This place is a gem for sushi lovers.

Trying to spice up Lent for my husband, I made a reservation here on a Friday night. We waited a few minutes for our table to open and were then shown to a booth. The ambiance is warm and chic. It was quite loud when we were there but I also believe every table was occupied and there were people waiting to be seated. I had the yellowtail and scallion maki and the asparagus maki. The yellowtail and scallion was excellent; the asparagus was a little bland (which is to be expected based on ingredients). We also shared the yuzu miso Brussels sprouts, which were roasted well and very flavorful. My husband had a few sashimi and several maki. I didn't sample any of his because they all contained things I'm allergic to but they looked delicious and were beautifully presented. Our service started out strong but definitely took a nosedive - it took a long time to get our check and then someone else came over to take the credit card after we'd been waiting awhile. Sort of frustrating but it looked like our server's section was double or triple seated, which isn't his fault.

We've ordered from here for a long time. Shocked when ordering on line. Order was cancelled.We called and they said:"Sorry system is down. We cant take your order!". They had no issue when we said we would order from Kamehachi.

Always fresh and always consistent. We order here at least once a week and usually get the same items. We usually get the rolls cut to smaller pieces so the kids have an easier time to chew. Parking for carry out is a disaster but otherwise worth it.

The food is excellent, service is extremely polite and attentive. Unlike the park ridge location, this place is not as nicely decorated and tables are very close to each other. Tables are also set up that way so only one person gets to see something, the other person is starting at the wall or a window.
