My family and I tried this location for the first time 10/6, as the one in northbrook closes at 7:45 PM. On the evening of 10/6 our experience was AMAZING! The staff was kind, patient and very informative as it was our first time trying out McAlister’s. Customer service over the top, as the staff came by our table to be sure everything was to our liking. It was such a great experience that i decided to come back the next week 10/13. To my disappointment the service flipped in one week. A young lady at the register who did not want to listen and pay attention to the order given to where it had to be corrected 3 times. I apologized profusely if I was causing any confusion. The order was put in and we sat down. Our food was placed in front of us w/ no response from the same young lady as we told her thank you. The manager came out and greeted the other patrons and inquired if everything was to their liking. We did not get this treatment this go around. Quite disappointed. My excitement about this place is over. Crazy how customer service can flip in a matter of days. 19 minute drive for nothing. Back to Panera we go. Patrons beware….

Bland in every way. The food, the atmosphere, the service, bland. But also oddly expensive. I cannot think of a reason to eat at McAlister's again.

10/04/23 I was in Glenview today and found McAlister's Deli. McAlister's located off of Willow road in the same shopping center as Target & Aldi set back in the shopping center next door to Chipotle. In my opinion this is a definite step up from Chipotle.They have a huge menu w/many options & variations of sandwiches, salads, soups, deserts. You can get any combination of sandwiches, soups, salads....There are specialty sandwiches w/a P next to them that denotes a premium w/a small upgrade of $1.25. I got half Turkey on Ciabatta bread & 1/2 Reuben. You can also get a Choose 2 1/2 sandwich w/1/2 salad, 1/2 spud or a cup of soup or any combination. Cool idea. The menu options can be a bit overwhelming as they are many options available. Nice large cleanly decorated dining area unfortunately the sandwiches weren't anything spectacular

My sandwich was ice cold and the Mac and cheese side tasted like plaster, the cashier was not enthusiastic about working there or even talking with me poor
Food is fresh and tastes good. My only concern is that if you use the app you are charged a service fee and do not know this if you do not look closely at the receipt.

When in for lunch , my experience with the staff was not pleasent . The cook and counter person was talking to each other about how much time it would take to make aloud . While we were waiting to order , each customers ahead of us ordered and the counter person kept adding longer time aloud to the public . Every order was added 5 mins more . It went from 25 minutes to 40 minutes for a wait for the food . We walked out . I am in the food business, and never saw how rude the person was to the public . First time and will be last time .When to Dengeo instead . Service was very fast and good.

I have given this place a few tries and am always happy that I do. Panera like options but better priced and with baked potato options. Their pick two option is great and the half salad that comes with the sandwich is generous. I have tried a few different sandwiches and have enjoyed them all.Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options. I believe one salad and one sandwich come without meat. You can request no chicken on any salad but it needs to be requested. About 20 sandwiches and only one vegetarian, though it is good.

McAllister's have the best sandwiches, best lemonade and the best soups. I recommended 100% and the staff there the waiters no cashier people are super friendly very nice and very helpful. The food is awesome so good.
