This is the best bakery and the best sandwiches! My boys loved the cookies and the brownies and my older son gobbled up the sandwiches. I also got some beautiful items as gifts for friends and family. Thank you so much Misericordia Sweet Shoppe!Kid-friendliness: The volunteers are so inviting and kind. They made my kids feel very welcome!

Bakery food is fresh and delicious. Love the shopping too. And gifts hand made by the Misericordia residents was an addition treat. We will back again soon. Also easy parking on the street.

Their pastries are a heavenly blend of flaky and sweet, perfectly complemented by their rich coffee selection. Don`t miss the mini cupcakes, they`re the perfect bite-sized indulgence for a sweet pick-me-up.

A fine bakery (and tailored light lunch assortment) and supports the Misericordia home; residents staff the shop...be a little patient, please.

Good coffee and good sweets. Also worthy organization.

A family member bought me one of the breads as a gift when I visited Glenview. So delicious! Moist, tasty. Would make wonderful gifts. Not to say, what I would buy for us. Such a good cause. I am coming to Glenview to visit family and am excited to shop! Yummy!

So disappointed on the service and the quality of the food. They take forever to finish a simple order, mind you when I say simple I mean simple like a freaking sandwich. When this new bakery opened up I was so hyped because it was a nice add to the neighborhood for a quick place to go in the morning when you’re in a rush to go to work, you would think but nope I was wrong the average wait time I would say between 10-20 min. Let me add that they’re always messing up the order or overcharging so make sure you double check that receipt and make sure you double check your order before you drive off because I have received a whole complete different order several times. I really wanted to give this place several chances but after like the 5th time chance something is wrong I just had to throw the towel! And you would think the food would be awesome to overcome the other aspects but no the food is not horrible it’s just always cold! Maybe they should get a new microwave a better one that heats up more properly! So if you want cold food and you want to be late to work! And you want to be over charge than I suggest for you stop by!

Such delicious products. A real pleasure to be treated like a valued customer. I drive 35 minutes to shop here. Would give it a jillion stars if I could. Hint: Try the Irish soda bread.

This is the best toffee I have ever had. Bonus that it’s locally owned and the owners work the front and greet you w/ a smile. All my friends get this candy as gifts from me, and they all rave about the quality and taste, highly recommend!!

First time visiting this charming bakery and shop...bought several bakery items to take home and wandered the many beautifully-displayed gift items for sale... from higher-end jewelry & clothing to a children's gift items. We'll definitely return.
