Was told this has some of the most authentic Mexican food in the STL/IL area and i can't tell you how spot on that was. Placed a pickup order on a Saturday night for their quesadilla 3 de Mayo and steak asada tacos. The order was ready in no less than 15 minutes and was able to pick it up quickly. The quesadilla was huge and had great taste. The red and green salsas that come with the order were unbelievable and an absolute must to add with the food. The steak tacos were also very juicy and lived up to that very traditional street taco. This is a must go to and i will be coming back very soon.

We stopped in for late lunch. This place is in an out of the way spot and pretty small. The menu was pretty great. They have homemade tortillas as well. I had the street tacos. The chips are also handmade. The salsa is a little spicy with some smoke to it.

I ordered Menudo here and didn't finish it because I felt sick after eating it. The waitress refunded me for the Menudo. I have not had this experience with other dishes I have ordered here.

Food was authentic. Choriqueso came out pretty thin but thickened as it sat. Feels like a little hole in the wall restaurant. Not much decor. Was for sure pricey. 2 orders of Birria Tacos, 2 Beers, Choriqueso, and 2 kids meals both with sweet tea and it was over $80! We will go back but have some more strategy to our ordering.

The food was good did not care for the in house made corn tortillas very gritty. I picked all the ingredients off and ate without the tortillas. The salsa was amazing. Prices were a little high I thought. Service was not the best. Would try again just will not order tortillas.

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Our server, Barbara, was so attentive and friendly!! The first hint of goodness was the excellent homemade salsa and chips. I had the Caldo de Birria and a Tamale rojo. She had the Barbacoa tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious. The tortillas that came with my meal were freshly handmade! If you're looking for a clean, welcoming, and authentic goodness, this is the place I recommend.
