Friday nite and they were packed! I tried to sit at the bar but it was full up, so I waited for a table. Since it was so busy the food did take a while to come out and our server couldn't make it by for refills.I wasn't too bothered by it because the live music was outstanding! Totally made the experience!

It's been approx 3 years once we've been back. Our last visit was awful and it has taken long time for me to give it another try. Food: Started with the house salad with Thousand Island dressing. Personally I hate arugula. It's bitter and anyway it's served, it's terrible. Wish I would have done soup instead. For dinner I had the trio medallions with Parmesan crust, garlic mashed, and asparagus. It was properly cooked and excellent. Hubby had the 12 ounce prime rib with garlic mashed and green beans. He was happy with his choice too. Service: I don't remember our servers name but she was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. Ambiance: It's an open floor plan with high ceilings which tends to make it loud. Since it was just the two of us, it wasn't a problem. A lot of the items on the menu try too hard to be fancy. Personally, I only found the trio medallions appeal to me. Not sure if this restaurant will make it into our rotation. Most likely a once a year visit.

My son and I had the skirt steak and it was charred outside and had that flavor. We didn’t order it charred but medium.

So i have always had a good meal here. Its never been a 10 but always good solid 7.5-8 Anyways moving on. The chocolate moose... wtf is this crap. Its like my 7year old made it out of box chocolate pudding . Yuck!!!

I have food allergies. The waiter was vey good with checking with the chef to make sure the food that I ordered was safe to eat. I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca, which was very good. My husband ordered the Big Texas Burger. He said the burger was great but was disappointed in the fries that were served with it. As good as the burger was, the fries should have been hand cut or gourmet to complement the burger. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere, and our waiter was nice and friendly.

We love this place - in the heart of downtown Grayslake! Everything is delicious and the Caesar salad dressing should be sold by the bottle.

This place is still relatively new, so I feel a bit premature in a review that I'll probably not getting around to updating, but, so far, so good with some caveats. So far, I've been here twice, and enjoyed the food and had very good service. All employees, from the bar to the hosts, to the waitstaff have been friendly and helpful. Also, too, the food has been good, a bit better than "average" and points for going above and beyond the usual fare you find in the area and an increasing emphasis on bourbon selection.My biggest caveat is pricing. A bit high, I think, despite a high-end feeling and a very nice looking restaurant. The plates, for the most part, could come down a few dollars. Bar specials are good, and can save some money for a quick bite. The smaller caveat is what seems to be some uncertainty with the restaurant as to when they're open, what specials they might have, and general confusion with the staff regarding day-to-day operations. I expect this to be ironed out.Note: Keep your Facebook and webpage up to date!

Center Cut is hands down a top destination in Lake County for food, drinks and great company at the bar. Jes does an incredible job changing up the menu, cocktail specials and could win the “best” manhattan contest if there was one!

Was recommended this restaurant from a friend, did not disappoint. The food was amazing and they had a plethora of whiskeys to choose from; I was even surprised to see they had Widow Jane and Still Austin. Highly recommend for food or drinks.

A friend was booked here to play live music during dinner service. The tables were reserved so I sat at the bar. I'm usually a beer drinker but the bar manager, Jess, presented me with a cocktail menu as well. I asked for any recommendations and she asked what my tastes were. Something not to sweet would be fine I said. She made me an old fashioned. It was amazing. I enjoyed it so much, that I asked if she had any other options. She told me she handcrafts all the cocktails herself and made me a drink I'd never heard of before that wasn't even on the menu. It was even better than the first one. She explained that she tries to do seasonal drinks as well, depending what is available at that time of year. If you're looking for a spot to try something outside of your usual wheelhouse, this is the spot. You won't be disappointed. Thanks to Jess, I found out there's more to life than IPAs. Cheers.
