The ambience is really weird Good if you're just by yourself drinking at the bar or with a couple friends

I've been here two times and the service was not great. Long wait and many beer selections were out

The Good: the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had! The fries are good. The beer selection is solid. The Bad: I've had my share of not so great food there. Inconsistent food at top end pricing is a bad combo. The Ugly: Overpriced! The pricing may be the reason it's not often busy in there. I hope they review their pricing and adjust because I really want them to do well.

Come for the beer and appetizers. Anything else and you will be very disappointed. We ordered a variety of things from the menu, wraps, fish fry, meatballs, brisket sandwich and salads. Wraps were forgettable. Fish was so overcooked it was difficult to eat. Meatballs were raw and served cold, brisket was pretty bad. Only highlight was the salads which were generous and tasty.

I'd only recommend appetizers and drinks that aren't made by them. Had a chicken wrap and it was rubber. Substituted ingredients in a drink on their cocktail menu without asking (was awful) and replacement not great either. On another occasion the bartender hit my husband in the face with a bottle cap. No apology or even acknowledgment. Servers are usually very nice but bar staff and food, not so much.

Good neighborhood place. It's especially nice in the summer to sit outside. Food is good and nice wait staff. Always have a good meal there.

Great place to go in Grayslake for beers, burgers, and fun. It's one of the more happening places in town. First Draft, just knowing the name of course, has lots of beers. Maybe it can get crowded but it's usually not that bad to be honest. The food menu includes burgers and fried stuff. Always has a ton of beers on tap for local breweries. It's about $7 a pint. The last time there was Liquid Love Brewery with the Tango Hugs, a lightly sweet one made with tangerine. As for the food, most people will get a burger. We got the Beyond Burger, the main choice for vegetarians. It's about $15 to get one with toppings and a side. This comes with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Even if it may be a little expensive, it's still a lot of food. The burger is a good amount for a meal. Best place in town if looking for a sports bar atmosphere. It has pretty good prices for the portions. The burgers are the main things to eat on the menu, and there's options for carnivores as well as vegetarians.

Had lunch at First Draft today, first time there. They offer a great selection of cocktails, beers, Ciders & wine. I enjoyed Vander Mill Hard Apple Cider Cider - Traditional / 6.5% ABV from Grand Rapids, MI, a Hard Apple Cider, semi-sweet using a unique blend of Michigan apples to balance acidity and fresh fruit flavors. For lunch I went with the Grilled Cheese 11.95 on white bread, cheddar, gruyere, & boursin. Very tasty, although the bread could have been toasted a bit more, very little coloring.Grace is a great bartender!

I had been speaking and emailing with Tom to reserve the arcade room for my rehearsal dinner. We had been communicating for over a month. Everything was confirmed for the date needed, the price, the food, the time, etc. I should have listened to my gut from the beginning as Tom sometimes would take several days to over a week to respond. However, I continued to book and had everything confirmed. The day of, when I had people starting to show up as I (the bride) was finishing at our rehearsal, they told the guests they had no record of our reservation. I had multiple emails of confirmation of this reservation. The hostess said Tom was out sick but wouldn't get the manage for the night on the phone. The customer service was horrible and there was nothing they were trying to do to accommodate this. Here I was, a bride, the night of her rehearsal with 40 people to feed and now nowhere to go. DO NOT plan a party here.Quite frankly, the food is not great. The reason we were doing our dinner here was because we enjoy the atmosphere as the rooftop is nice and it was casual and close to our dinner and home. I will never return nor will anyone associated with us that night will return. Very upsetting and caused a very stressful night the day before my wedding.
