Food is really good, just not worth the price you pay. If they r gonna give u a small drink with the meals, they should atleast offer free refills, but instead theu charge u for the refills

The beef and sausage combo was the best I've had in a long time!!?? Fresh crispy fries too! The guys working there are super cool and friendly. This is my new go to spot for beefs and sausages.

Had one of the best Italian Beef combos, I've had in a very long time. The ajou was great, the Italian bread was toasty, the Italian sausage was excellent, the geardinera was spicy but not salty (a plus), and the shaved beef was tasty and tender. Very good beef.

Great memorabilia wall, the sports teams are all Chicago which is awesome. Chicago sports fans eat here and the food is incredible. Great place to go to food.

Pretty good food, prices are a little high, especially if you factor in the additional "convenience fee" for using a Credit Card$31 (after fee / tax) used to get you more food than this

5++?My son had the Italian beef, I had the double smashburger with cheese. I was in Norm's years ago, and my oldest son wanted to stop as we were driving by today. I have to admit the food was good The meat was super fresh, the Italian bread fresh, the buns fresh, the only thing I wish, they would take down all of those yellow plastic chains. I don't know why they're up, maybe people drink all the pop? But it would be nice to be able to walk over there and top off your large drink while you're eating. But anyway, that has nothing to do with the cleanliness which was excellent, and the food which matched the cleanliness. I've been to a lot of hot dog places in this area and others, and norms does a good job with the typical Chicago burgers and hot dogs, Maxwell Street Polish, and The dipped Italian beef. 35 bucks is a little steep, but it is worth it if you have that hankering. And I had it that day, lol!Vegetarian options: NoneDietary restrictions: AskKid-friendliness: SureWheelchair accessibility: Yes, although it is small.

Visited Big Norm's after finding out George's Gyros was closed..Prices were way too high for fast food but since we were there we decided to order anyway...Gyro's were way too small (more sauce than meat) and taste just wasn't there.. fries were good though...one free refill on drinks was also nice but like I said for the price, not worth it.... if you want a good value go to George's Gyros about a half mile east from Norm's on Grand...

I went to big norms for a Togo order for lunch. I ordered my favorite, maxwell style polish meal. It comes with fries and a drink. I don't know why their fries are so good!!! I barely had any left to take any picture of. The polish is perfectly made, the ends are my favorite because it's crispy. They have daily specials. The service is pretty quick, I think it took them maybe 5-7mins. I will say if you eat at big norms I would bring cash. They have a 5% fee any time they swipe a credit card, however, that still doesn't deter me away from the restaurant. I have never dined in, but the physicality looks clean. The colors inside the restaurant gives Ma and pa vibes. I would definitely recommend this spot, it's a hidden gem.

Love this place, but sadly it has become a place that is overpriced. Hot dog and fries about $14. Please go back to reasonable pricing because this has caused us to not come as frequent.
