We celebrated a birthday here recently. The steak was excellent! I eat primarily carnivore and the kitchen prepared a skirt steak atop a bed of bacon. Not just a couple slices of average bacon. This was 6 slices of crispy bacon topped with a perfect medium rare steak! A great meal overall with one caveat when they gave our table to another party when we were 5 minutes late and told us they did that. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. Not the end of the world but a bit frustrating.

We went for a wine tasting and dinner. Sammantha was great during our tasting and we really enjoyed it! I got the chicken risotto and it was really good. We had a great time and definitely recommend it!

Went here on a weeknight for a birthday celebration with my daughter. We were very excited to return (we had been before). They were very busy. Waited 25 minutes to be seated (we showed up early for a dinner reservation at 6:30). Finally seated. As we sat, the waitress came over and welcomed us, handed us menus, and asked if we knew what cocktails we wanted. We said we needed a minute. Asked for water.Waitress returned, no water yet, but asked again about cocktails. Again, we need a minute can we please get water. She brought water and asked again about cocktails. We need a "few" minutes. Ordered cocktails which were very good. A Manhattan and a sangria. But before they were served, we were asked twice for our order. We explained we hadn't looked, we are celebrating a birthday and will order after our cocktails arrive.We immediately ordered after they arrived, salads (which were good), a chicken sandwich and the short ribsSalads showed up in 5 or 10 ten minutes, all good we started enjoying them and continued catching up. Before we finished the salads, dinner came. A different server had dishes held by towels, they were hot etc. We explained we were still eating salads. She explained she was told to bring them to the table and if we wanted she could take them back. We told her put them down.Finished salads, and the food was no longer hot. Waitress finally checked on us, I was honestly angry. I explained to her (and asked for manager) that I get they want to turn a table. More tips and revenue, but we are bring rushed and NOT enjoying the cold food. They offered to remake it or reheat eat. We passed on both. That simply never works out especially when a place is busy.Manager did apologize and the waitress disappeared (understandably). We finally asked for check and no comp, nothing!A potential memorable evening didn't turn out that way due to the restaurant wanting to "turn the table quickly". That was not what we paid for.

I love this place! So happy to have this in Gurnee! Such a fine dining experience! From the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the facility to the excellent customer service, all the way to the delicious food from appetizer through dessert, you won't regret coming here!

Our first time dining here, and at first we were a little sceptical, figuring it would not be worth the price. But, the food was great, the servers were great and the wine was superb! The noise level was a little much though. We had a party of 8, and I could not hear anyone except the people next to me. Well worth the time.

Had a tasting with Gloria first then headed for food in the bar area. Food was excellent, had the Corned Beef Sliders... so good! I wish I would have brought some home with me too!
I'm a wine club member and I enjoy Cooper's Hawk. This time I had the gluten free shrimp and scallops Risotto. It was great. My friend ordered the short ribs with veggies instead of potatoes. She never received her extra veggies and she reported that her food was slightly salty. The drinks were AWESOME!!!! I ordered the red sangria and it was great!
It took almost an hour just to get 2 wine flights. The fries were very bad. They tasted old and soggy and very salty. The chicken piccata were bland. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and this truly was a horrible experience. Unfortunately, I guess it's true what people are saying about the Cooper's Hawk restaurant in Gurnee.
Amazing dining experience for my husband's birthday. The manager, Steve, made sure we had a wonderful celebration! The waitress was very nice and efficient and kept in communication with us. The food was, as always, delicious. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this restaurant I've been there several times, and always have the same experience.  Make sure to take part in the wine tasting! You won't regret it l. bon appétit!

Once again, the food was excellent. While there were some issues with waiting for both drinks and food, the staff and management handled these issues quickly and politely, and we still had a wonderful time and will certainly dine here again, and soon.

Nice facility with the newer design. Very busy and could have had better server coverage given the number of parties. That notwithstanding, our server was very pleasant and attentive. As for food, I had the lunch portion of the chicken giardiniera and my wife had the lunch portion of the soy glazed salmon. While the food was flavorful, both of our potatoes appeared overly moist/somewhat runny. Not a major issue but having eaten in 6 different CH locations, with the same entrees, the potatoes could have been prepared better. One of our appetizers was the lettuce wraps. Very tasty but the lettuce pieces could have been larger to better accommodate the fixings provided.
The Napa chicken salad is delish and always spot on. Presentation is nice too. The dressing is perfect although with the goat cheese, you don't need much. The shaved prime rib sandwich was cooked to perfection medium rare. This sincerely elevates an average sandwich to great! Waiter was great, although given big bills again to leave a tip. Didn't want to wait and left 25%. Hostess's and management are professional and super welcoming. Another great salad to consider, is the skirt steak salad. Again, elevated if ordered medium rare.
