Kenosha Long John Silvers burned down in the early 2000 and was never rebuilt. Gurnee KFC & LJS. Combined and is the closest one to Racine WI. I just love Fish and Chips and they are the only one that survived.

Sorry, but I don't recommend this location. Unfortunately, the service is extremely slow!!!? the ladies/cashiers are not very friendly. Food is just ok. Fish was very greasy, so it is not worth the long wait to get your food.

First they didn’t have the menu that was online. Then they took almost a half hour to make it. The fries were cold. The hush puppies were Dominant onion flavor. Probably from dirty oil. The cod coating was soggy and the cod terrible. The only decent thing was the batter fried shrimp. Not sure how that was acceptable. KCF which this is a combo has declined in recent years, and this is the only long John Silver open anywhere near here. Honestly, I understand why. The quality is terrible the kids making it are just as bad. Don’t waste the money on either the KFC side or Long John Silver side.

Absolutely worst Long John Silver and KFC that I have ever been too. I have been to Chicago and this represents the worst of Chicago fast food. I thought to have a change up from McDonald’s. This specific place was out of everything but a couple pieces of chicken and biscuits. I’m not paying full price to not have fries and coleslaw and hush puppies missing. Absolutely poorly managed and I’m surprised they are still running.

Drove 13 miles to come to this LJS. The LJS near me in Mundelein closed a few years ago and I missed it a lot. I had the 3 piece fish combo. With tax it was $10.02 . It was excellent. Fries were so so but I came for the fish. Will come here more when Six Flags opens in April.

I'll probably regret my food choices some day but there I was, just a few miles from an old guilty pleasure. Maybe I just got lucky but had as good an experience as I could possibly have at a LJS. Don't understand the hate this location gets. The staff was surprisingly courteous, especially cashier working his first day, and everything tasted freshly made. As others mentioned they do run out of stuff, and they were out of shrimp that day so just got fish. It all tastes the same anyway. Do you really need to live forever?

The fact that you can't eat inside has turned me off from going there. I used to love the food when you could sit and eat inside but having to take it home ruins the experience.

So, I drove 30 minutes to go and enjoy this special treat.The food, well it was amazing, and the prices were fair. I even got food for another friend after I had finished eating.For the not so favorable part, the service... The service at the drive through was horrible. The person taking our order was rude, immediately, and didn't want to be bothered by my questions (I just wanted to know it the ice tea had lemon flavoring in it as well). And since I had eaten my meal in the car, when I came through again to order for my friend, she made an rude comment about me coming through twice.I'm sure they were having a bad day, but it just ruined the whole experience. When I told my friend about the service, they told me that when they went last time, the service experience was similar. Please try and do better.

Overly priced and bad service, first thing first customer service should always be A1 when serving the customer. They don’t have it what so ever, it needs to under go new management right away. Reevaluate the whole restaurant as a whole because i will not be spending my money here ever again. Workers can’t even speak clearly and effectively into the microphone while taking orders. Zero stars in my book

Everything was freshly made. I had 1pc chicken and 1pc fish. The chicken was bland and the fish was just ok. The tartar sauce was good. Thumbs down on the hush puppy. Too expensive, wouldn't go back.

They you were rude and they said that the inside was not open all she would tell me is drive-through and out every other restaurant they’re open for the inside we drove a long way wouldn’t use a reason why to get there drive-through so without any reason why.. I will not be returning to this location regardless that there’s not many in this area you guys need to do a lot of work with your employees and there’s no reason for the inside to be closed and if there is a reason they need to tell less than that wouldn’t

I live in Gurnee and many times throughout the past several months, I have attempted to eat food from. Long john silvers either by getting it to go or dine in. Either way, terrible!!!! The food is often refried and old. Many occasions I'm told " we are not cooking fish today, or we don't have that". I've been asked to pull around from the drive through and wait for extended peiords of time. 2 weeks ago I went and was left waiting outside for 20 minutes and I was upset and went in to see the manager. A Hispanic male addressed himself as manager and I told him I was mad tha I was left waiting while everyone else got their food. The manager invited me not to come back. Last week I went to find out who owned the facility and a black male was up front and ignored my question and walked away. A black female wearing a red shirt told me she was the owner of the facility. She rolled her eyes and could jot care less about my concerns. By the way, I am white. All the other ethnic groups got their food ahead of me even though I ordered first. When is the last time anyone has saw a white employee at that location???????
