I ordered a plate on 02/22/24 around 7:50pm and got chow mein, orange chicken and chili crisp shrimp. The chow mein was all cabbage, no noodles. The orange chicken was soft and not crispy at all, PLUS the chili crisp shrimp is an extra $1.50 or so and I was given 4 shrimps TOTAL. They were also not crisp as they were soggy and had no coating at all whatsoever. This was actually the worst plate I’ve ever had from panda and I will not be returning to this location. EVER AGAIN!

There was no one in line and I waited to get served. Then placed my order and waited even longer. The person taking orders was making a lot of orders for what looked like online orders. The dining area was cold like the air conditioning was on. Maybe they were short handed if they were the other employees were just watching and the one employee thought it was funny. Pretty childish.

I see all the bad reviews and I am shocked. I've been here to this Gurnee location several times and have been nothing but pleased. The fact they always have what I want is a big plus over other Panda's like in Vernon Hills that are always out of teriyaki chicken.

I just love watching online orders get made. Walked in with no line and did not receive any service not even a hello. Stood there for close to 10min then walked out. I go here pretty frequently but this may alter my future decisions.

As fast as I liked it I'm disliking. When I make the trip there and there's no food in the bowls is a big waste of my time. I thought I was going to like this place but having no food to choose from does me no good.

I absolutely love panda express. That is why I drove an extra 10 minutes to get to a panda express when there was plenty of other restaurants nearby. With that said I would not recommend this panda express if you are looking for a good HOT food and kind customer service don’t come here. If you’re craving panda save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

This place needs to either have management replaced with someone experienced or be completely shut down. This is the second time I walked out of the restaurant while waiting in line to be served. The line was out the door, not because it was popular but because people were waiting to place their order. There were only 2 tables occupied out of the whole restaurant. This was not during rush hour, this was after dinner, and on a freaking Wednesday. Eventually a gaggle of people came right behind me and I had to shift in a way so I didn't get pinned by the door or fight for space. I looked ahead, there were still people waiting. Line didn't move at all. No one was being served on the other side of the counter where you point and pick what you want. No one. I get better service at the DMV. Fast food my rear. I walked out.

Childman chicken. The chicken wasn't cooked. The manager has a meeting when I told him about the chicken. He didn't check and see his employee. His answer was let them give you something else..... You should not be working in this place. You know what it mean chicken not cooked well.. Salmonello....

OK first off...I'm no hater. Just a retired F&B manager after being in the Hospitality Industry for over 35 years. Really? The service sucks there but they have very good food but when I order just a simple little accompaniment like a hot pepper (that is used in the Kung Pao Chicken) to top off my $11.01 dinner, the food server kid employee says, "sorry sir, I can't do that" So, that puts me right at 212 degrees, right? So I say, "can I speak to the manager?" So he goes to get the manager and I repeat my question to him and he says pretty much the same thing: "sorry sir, its a company policy" At that point, my hunger took over my patience and I asked for who the district manager is and he said Kristina. So, Kristina, I hope you will read this (because I checked the little box that says "Let Panda Express know about your review" I would appreciate an explanation to what the policy states to this rather insane, but largely very important experience, OK? If you want to call me, my phone # is 224.456.1699. If I don't hear from you within a weeks time, I will find you and call you, thanks!
