I ordered a sandwich @ Gurnee,IL location at around 8:00 pm i think…So, I went there and i was polite to order but the guy who assisted me just stared at me, didn’t even say “Hi, Welcome to Potbelly! What can I get for u”. He seems like he was in a bad mood or idk….or maybe because i look hispanic or he is just racist I really don’t know. Like he is not interested assisting people like me….even if i didn’t do anything wrong. Good thing the other person who assisted me was nice and made me feel i am welcome there….and then i saw the black guy again at the cashier section …gave the black lady a different treatment…he was nice to that lady. So idk what did i do wrong to be treated that way….it’s just not fair. I mean i know i’m not that special but as a customer i just wanna feel the fair treatment and feel welcome to buy at their location. I should have just bought sandwich at Potbelly in Pleasant Prairie location. Staff are friendly, nice and no rude treatment.

If you request them to not warm up your sandwich, they can make you a cold sub which is tasty as well. Yummy Oreo shake that comes with a cookie on top. Potato soup was warm.

I ordered a regular Hammie for lunch. When it came, it was a "SkinnyHammie." instead. The store manager, a very nice young woman,had my order remade and did not charge me for either one. I thinkshe deserves a "thank you"for being gracious.

I have always loved potbelly’s !! But today I Paid for my sandwich. After the guy said it looks like your having a bad day and said I could have a cookie on him. Soooo incredibly nice!!! What a wonderful human for showing empathy and compassion !!!Kid-friendliness: So friendly !!! And kind !!!

Handicap people beware wheelchairs don't fit in the line because of this big cast iron stove decoration. I hurt my back moving so my friend could get in line to order food. Had to move it twice since she also had to get out of the line.

Have to say this place is nice with great service. I had a issue with my sandwich (something got into it) won't say what but no big deal. I let the nice lady know at the counter and without question she made me a new one. I love coming here and never had a problem! I recommend this place 10/10These workers care about their customers and I will continue to come back! Awesome job to this Restaurant Team and their hard work

I will no longer be going to this location. The service is not good. In the past four times we have gone here something has been wrong. This last time the sandwich had the wrong bread, and missing toppings. This isn't the first time a sandwich has been made incorrectly, but it will be the last time.
